The ongoing process of smiting Optard

Eons and eons ago (was it really only last month?) I made my way to the Nirvana known as Pun's Place. It was like heaven. A stable message board that didn't crash! And the Mods weren't faceless entities! Granted, I've never met Solly in real life, and he probably has forgotten how to interact with real live people, but I knew and joked around with Sal, Solly, occasionally Pun, even Oppy.
I noticed the Exalt / Smite button right away. And it was here I saw my first flagrant abuse of Mod Power. That right bastard, Operation I Am Retarded, had his Karma set to something like plus 10 billion. The rest of us start out with zero, but he sets himself up so high, and brags about it to everyone else (okay, I've never actually heard him bragging about it, but it's something I can easily imagine he'd do. So I'll blame him for it. Kind of like the whole WMD / Iraq thing).
So every time I can remember (which isn't often) I make it a point to smite him. It will take me millennia to get him down to zero and then through the negative numbers, but I will persevere. Except for when I'm smiting Ryan the Halfling Paladin.
