Anywho. Any comments about Weeks 1 and 2 of the 2018 season? My Vikings ended up kissing their ugly, smelly, stupid, beer & cheese gobbling sister. But I'm happy with our big money QB. Sportsguy's team better hope Juicy A-Rodg doesn't get any more injured. Without him, they're nothing.

Random thoughts:

1. I understand that the league wants to protect the quarterbacks, but if the Eric Kendricks and Clay Matthews (among others) hits are what's now considered Roughing The Passer then skip the middle man and just turn this into the National Flag Football League right now.

2. Having said that..... FUCK CLAY MATTHEWS. By my rough count he's missed roughly 9,277,000,000 tackles over the past 3 years. And literally the only 2 times he's touched a QB this year have been crucial unnecessary roughness penalties. I can not WAIT til he's off my football team after this year.

3. Why didn't we trade for Khalil Mack exactly?

4. EXTREMELY small sample size, but the rookie corners look legit so far.

5. No, seriously, why the fuck didn't we trade for Khalil Mack?

6. If Mike McCarthy wanted to pull a Vontae Davis at halftime of next Sunday's game, I wouldn't object.

1. BORTLES!! (Immediately throws a Molotov Cocktail)

2. As a vengeful Packer fan with a long memory: I hope the Giants go 0-16 and the retarded Manning brother plays EVERY SINGLE SNAP of the season behind this train wreck of an offensive line. (Note: This is a tough one because I also want Saquon Barkley to have a big year for my fantasy team.)

3. So maybe the Bills trading the only quarterback in 20 years to lead them to the playoffs was a bad idea. Who knew?

4. If Mitchell Trubisky is even league average, the Bears are a wild card team. That defense is fucking legit.

5. What the hell is going on in Pittsburgh?

6. 10 touchdown passes in 2 games? Holy shit, it appears I was very very very much wrong about Patrick Maholmes.

7. Only 2 weeks against horrible teams, but the Rams very clearly look like the best team in football right now.

8. Somewhat related... can we please start a national petition for Arizona to trade Larry Fitzgerald to a contender? Please? (Minnesota sending a 3rd so he can end his career at home on a contender would be a story I'd love because I love stories like that. It'd also be a story I'd hate because....well, sure you can figure out why)

I agree that both of those penalties were not Roughing the Passer. And I empathize with your hatred of Clay Matthews. If you want a differing opinion, follow @therealcarlg on Twitter. He's a character (I can only assume he's not real) created by KFAN Radio in Minneapolis as the typical Packers rube. He's morphed into an actual on-air expert on the Packers making NFL picks on Friday afternoons. He's a big Clay Matthews fan.

Dan Bailey has come to save the Vikings season. I'm not sure if that's something to celebrate or not, yet. And they've resigned Sebastian Thunderbucket (because "Tom Johnson" isn't a proper defensive player's name).

If they played two sub-par teams, how can you call the Rams the best team in the NFL? I think Jacksonville, KC and Minnesota could beat them. Let's see how all those personalities on the defense react if they experience any set-backs. Donald, Suh, Talib? Aziroazide azide is more stable. Keep an eye on JSully at center. He has a lot of miles on him (mostly from anchoring bad o-lines with the Vikings) and could be subject to a bad injury. Hope not, because he's a cool dude.

Steelers are in their death throes. Rapist-burger will retire at year's end, Bell will be gone and Brown will be pissed he's under contract until 2022.

Patriots are vulnerable this year. But they still play in the AFC East which still sucks. I'll be surprised if Tannehill doesn't revert to the below average QB we all know.

Bortles is legit. I was completely wrong about him. He's grown his game; I don't think he could carry a team, but his defense is doing that for him.

Are the Bengals real? I can't tell. Are the Texans not? Again...

How much does it suck to be a Lions fan right now?
