Episode 1: “Hustle, Loyalty and Respect”
*Commentators Joe Galli and Jim Cornette talk about the move to TBS, expansion to two hours and influx of new talent. This means some other talent has left and the NWA National and Tag Team Titles are now vacant. The first round of a tournament to crown new champions will be held tonight. Also, we’ll learn who will face Nick Aldis for the NWA World’s Heavyweight Title at Into the Fire.
*Nick Aldis interrupts with Kamille in tow. He fought long and hard to win the NWA World’s Heavyweight Title. Nobody can just waltz right in and get an automatic title shot. He demands this mystery man earn it by beating Aldis’ handpicked opponent in the main event tonight. He awaits a reply.
*The Authors of Pain with Tully Blanchard defeat Tim Storm and Eli Drake in the tag team title tournament. Drake falls to the outside and nurses an injury. The AOP beat up Storm until Blanchard calls them off.
*David Marquez catches Eli Drake still nursing his shoulder at the interview podium. Marquez asks him about leaving his partner to get attacked in the ring. Drake is legitimately hurt himself, but nobody seems to care. Since coming into the NWA he’s been lifting up every champions and every wrestler. Who is lifting him up? He’s showing everybody respect, but nobody is giving him any respect. And that’s not him complaining, that’s a fact of life.
*Lio Rush defeats Ricky Starks in the National Title tournament.
*David Marquez welcomes Aldis’ possible next challenger: John Cena. Cena said he’s come to the NWA for three main reasons. Like him, they believe in hustle, loyalty and respect. He has hustled for everything he’s achieved in the wrestling business. He’s always been loyal to the fans and they’ve been loyal to him. And, he respects Nick Aldis because he has that 10 pounds of gold around his waist. He also respects the challenge. Cena agrees he shouldn’t be handed a title shot and will gladly face whoever Aldis wants in the main event tonight.
*Outlaw Inc. advances in the tag team tournament by defeating The Last Real Men (Silas Young and Trevor Murdoch).
*Rob Van Dam advances in the National Title tournament by defeating Shawn Spears with Tully Blanchard.
*Tim Storm comes out and talks with David Marquez. There’s been a lot of talk about respect on the show tonight. Eli Drake feels he’s due some respect. Storm agrees with is old rival, Nick Aldis, that respect is earned in that squared circle. If Eli wants Tim to say I respect you and shake his hand like a man, then pin his shoulders to the canvas for the one, two, three.
*American Wolves advance in the tag title tournament over the Wild Cards
*John Cena takes the ring and Nick Aldis comes out. They jaw at each other. Madman Fulton attacks Cena from behind. The match starts. Cena his the AA on Fulton, but Eric Young and Killian Dain run in to attack Cena. Cena wins by disqualification, but at what price?
Episode Two
"Ghosts of the Past"*Galli and Cornette review what happened last week at the end of the show. Cena has challenged Sanity to a six man tag with two mystery partners of his choosing. They have accepted. The first hour of tonight will be devoted to the women.
*The IIconics defeat Ashley Vox and Madison Rayne by cheating.
*Allysin Kay comes out and said much like Cena, she’s been promised a mystery challenger for Into the Fire. Well, whoever that is, can see how a champion wrestles right now.
*Kay defeats Kelly Klein and proceeds with a beat down. Trish Stratus runs out for the save.
*Stratus gets on the microphone and proclaims she’s the mystery challenger. She came out of retirement to achieve one thing she hasn’t in her career and that is win the most prestigious women’s belt in all of wrestling.
*Britt Baker defeats Leva Bates. A mystery women not identified watches from the shadows.
*John Cena comes out and introduces his tag team partners “Mean” Mark Callous and Bruiser Mastino, the Brothers from Another Mother. Due to copyright reasons, they can’t go under their more famous names, but by any name, Sanity will rest in peace tonight.
*Rhino debuts against Trevor Murdoch with Silas Young. Young pulls Rhino’s foot from the floor and Rhino leaves the ring to fight him. Murdoch follows out and it’s a double count out.
*Eli Drake responds to Tim Storm. He’s more than happy to shake his hand like a man and he expects the same from Tim Storm. At Into the Fire, it will be Drake’s arm raised in victory and his other arm receiving a handshake from Storm. That’s not him bragging, that’s a fact of life.
*Sanity defeats Cena and the Brothers from Another Mother when Eric Young blinds Masinto with a fireball behind the referee’s back. Everyone brawls to end the show.
Episode Three
"Natural Enemies"*Rhino wins by disqualification over Silas Young when Tevor Murdoch runs into the ring for the double beatdown. Rob Van Dam runs out to save his old friend.
*Lio Rush comes out to the interview podium and talks trash on RVD until he comes over and runs Rush off.
*Kelly Klein defeats Madison Rayne. The mystery woman again watches from the shadows.
*The mystery woman emerges and reveals herself to be Victoria. She knows her time in the squared circle will soon come to an end. She’s come to the NWA to find a protégé she can mold into the new Head Bitch in Charge.
*Eddie Edwards vs. Eddie Kingston vs. Rezar ends in a no contest when everyone brawls to the back after being joined by their tag team partners.
*Shawn Spears with Tully Blanchard defeats Tim Storm with outside interference from Elie Drake while Blanchard has the referee distracted.
*Bruiser Mastino defeats Eric Young. Killian Dain and Madman Fulton jump him after and Mark Callous can’t even the odds. Young readies another fireball, but he’s stopped by “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes from the back.
*John Cena and Trish Stratus defeat Nick Aldis and Allysin Kay with Kamille.
