It's been a while since we've had threads for the sports and maybe it'll get some conversations going since we are light on drafts at the moment and maybe we're get some discussion going.
My predictions:
AFC East
Bills - still the class of the division but everyone else is catching up...kinda
Dolphins (WC) - this is a big asterisk prediction as Tua has to stay healthy on the field
Jets - I just don't like Rodgers and want him to fail
Pats - I don't think Mac is good and don't think Bill can get anything else out of a team lacking playmaking talent
AFC North
Bengals - just like the Bills, just a step above and beyond the rest of the division
Ravens (WC) - again similar to the east, this is all predicated on Lamar staying on the field
Steelers - they're just always there and it's tough to predict them not finishing 9-8
Browns - fuck this team until they get rid of their QB
AFC South
Jaguars - Always a weird division, but Lawrence and their playmakers (Ridley, Etienne, Kirk) are enough
Titans - just based on QB experience for now over the other 2 teams and Henry could carry them to an extra win or 2
Colts - I think Richardson is probably better than Stroud right now, but the next few years will be interesting
Texans - They may have their QB...now they need to surround him.
AFC West
Chiefs - Far and above the West and maybe the entire AFC. Can't pick against them
Chargers (WC) - I would like to see Herbert win a big game or 2 before he's anointed as a top 5 QB in the league
Raiders - Them and the Broncos could be flipped, it will all depend on which QB is healthy and good
Broncos - Maybe Payton is a miracle worker but not sure how big a miracle it could even be
NFC East
Eagles - I hate this, but there's only like 2 legit Super Bowl contenders in the NFC and this is 1 or 1A
Cowboys (WC) - I guess they are good and they have talent but meh
Giants - I still don't trust Danny Dimes, but this is a prove it year for the team to prove last year wasn't a fluke
Commanders - At least their owner is gone
NFC North
Lions - This has to be the year they do it, right??? Right??????
Vikings - Very similar to the Steelers in that they always seem to be there but do nothing of consequence
Packers - I think Love may be decent but there will be some ups and downs this year
Bears - Maybe one of the harder teams to predict because Fields has looked very good sometimes, but there isn't a lot of talent around him.
NFC South
Saints - What the hell is this division?
Panthers (WC) - Seriously, how the hell should I know.
Falcons - I could see this entire division winning a total of 20 games
Bucs - Or they could win 40, there's no rhyme or reason to this order
NFC West
49ers - I don't know if Purdy is good, but the system is and this is the other team with a legit SB shot
Seahawks (WC) - Talent everywhere it matters and Geno seems to work well here
Rams - It's all gravy with the Super Bowl win but that runs out soon and they need to get 1 more run out of Kupp & Stafford
Cardinals - I think this is an NFL team, but the Bulldogs would beat them
