Not seen Day After Tomorrow, but voting for it because the premise of Billions of People Dying, but it's okay because the "I told you so" guy's family survives is insulting.

When the Bill Murray character is played by Dan Ackroyd and the Dangerfeild guy becomes Jackie Mason, then we have a problem.

Knight died long before the sequel was made. His character became Robert Stack.

Zoo wolves escape the ocean sweeping over NYC and freezing, and within days are ravenous killer beasts. They escaped the ocean. Without thumbs. How did they open doors? How did they avoid drowning? Can they fly? Why didn't they die during the immediate uber-freeze? Are they super-indestructable wolves? And why are ZOO wolves attempting to attack humans within 24 hours of their escape? Even if I overlook the fact that they are magic, I don't buy that they wouldn't just be outside begging for scraps. It was a blatant and ridiculous ploy to put in a "scary" element that didn't belong anywhere in this dumbass movie.

Can you see now why I might have tried to throw someone off a balcony over this movie? That is just one small problem in a giant frozen sea of problems that I have with this flick.

Lori is completely and 100% right. (And didn't even mention the "running away from the freeze-thing that CHASES THEM INTO A BUILDING!") However, way more people are wrong, and this is a democracy.

You know, that wolf thing sounds stupid as all hell. But it doesn't sound terribly uniquely horrible. I mean, have we never seen shit that made no sense utter than to add some drama in a movie?

The Day After Tomorrow had cool special effects, which is what disaster flicks must have.

There is a redeeming element to the show, that being the special effects. The South Park spoof actually makes this film watchable, because all the absurd elements are brought to the fore.

I didn't get the notion of risking your life for your kid when the helicopter arrived 2 minutes later.
