Finding Nemo is one of my favorite movies EVER, but being animated I never give it its due respect. Having watched it probably about 1,478 times with my daughter, I can recite just about every line of it. I love this movie so much that if/when I have another daughter, her name will be Sydney.

I haven't even looked at the bracket, but there is no way this does not win or be eliminated by a movie called Toy Story.

I might have to give Charlotte a mercy vote since Wilbur was voiced by the head Nazi from The Blues Brothers.

There are many, many good things about Finding Nemo. But I still find it endlessly disturbing how much the story is about the father and how little it is about the son.

As far as I recall, the animation in Charlotte's Web was mediocre. But it nicely adapted a very sweet, charming children's book. I know I nominated Nemo, but I think I might abstain here.

Wow, you guys take these cartoons seriously.

CW because I saw a few dozen times as a kid and I never got bored with it.

Finding Nemo was good, too. But, well, whatever.

Finding Nemo was fine and all. It was very good imagery, some funny bits and some good voice acting. Throughly enjoyed it in other words. But Charlotte's Web, oh my god was that one great. The story was just a 1,000 times better then any other animated movie. I'm not ashamed to admit I cried when Charlotte died, which is better then Solly crying when he drops a penny.

So I guess it's that animated movie debate of pretty imagery vs strong story, and to me the story wins. Plus, when in doubt go with the sexy pig rule. Pigs bathed in buttermilk win.

I'm not sure what I voted for here now. There have been a lot of movie adaptations of Charlotte's Web, and I don't know if this is the one I saw. The illustration on the front looks new-y.

Eh. I hated Nemo the first time I saw it, then liked it a lot more the second time.

There was a re-make in 2006, but it was live-action. I suspect that that notably ugly illustration is just something they made for the VHS or DVD box. Here's the original poster:
