Exorcist was the only movie my parents forbid me to watch until I was older then 13. I had seen Halloween, Friday 13th, Nightmare on Elm, etc. all at a very young age but Exorcist scared my parents so much I couldn't watch it. By the time I did watch it I was old enough not to be really scared by it. But it is still a Horror Classic.

Never seen The Exorcist, except for clips of the more famous "your mother" stuff which I find more funny than scary, tbh. Though I saw a deleted scene of her doing an upside down crab walk up some stairs or something that was pretty freaky.

I fucking LOVE Shaun of the Dead, and Pegg/Wright/Frost in general, and it's great that Shaun isn't a SPOOF, just a comedic take on the scenario from the Romero films.

I do need to see Shaun. When it first came out I just thought it was a dumb British version parody of Dawn of the Dead. I've heard enough good things to give it a chance.

Man, I'm STILL scared by the Exorcist even after a dozen or so viewings. I mean hell, the girl screaming in the catscan is enough to make me have chills. But when the actual demonic shit starts up? That movie fucking terrifies me to this day.

I love Shaun of the Dead and all and I would have picked it over a lot of straight horrors. But man its going to kill a lot of my enthusiasm for this tourney if it knocks out one of the all time classics. Its not bad enough that enough classics got dumped out of the tourney so we could get Final Destination and both versions of the Ring in for 1st round dismissals? Or that Night of the Living Dead will fall in the 1st?

God this tournament is going to be a mess of mediocre shit from the last decade and non-horror-horror movies by the time the next round starts. And I actually have to pay attention to this one. Should have known this would happen.

Should have closed this almost 24 hours ago. Life got crazy. Hopefully this one didn't get screwed up by that but if it did, every poll had the same extension. The Exorcists NARROWLY sneaks by Shaun of the Dead. Its a great comedy and all but THE EXORCIST. At least that spoilers is out now and we can get to business.
