He had an irrational fear of CiG so he wanted ANYONE in the tournament because it would have changed the seedings and given him someone other than CiG. At least anyone who would have drawn a high enough seeding to affect CiG.

If it was an OO showdown or even a showdown where we consider both boards then CIG would win but I don't think he'd blow Dev out. Since CIG only comes over here occasionally and Dev has run a very fun TV Draft, a few other fun showdowns, and is active in sports talk I think he wins this easily.
