Unemployed. And pissed about it.

So, I walked into work today. I found out that the CEO of the company was no longer with the company. That news alone confused me, but I have a strange feeling now that it had something to do with what would follow. I got into my work, about 30 minutes in, and realized that there was something else going on. My boss asked me to follow him to the HR director's office. At this point, I was told that I was being fired, and that my firing was coming as a result of my downloading a pornographic film clip onto a computer in the office. Not *MY* computer, but another computer in the office. A computer sitting RIGHT in front of one of my co-workers. So in order to download this porn, it would have had to been in full view of my co-worker.
Now, let me lay this down first: I would NEVER download anything inappropriate to my work-based computer. That would be stupid. But to download it to someone ELSE's computer? That's not just stupid, that's insane. So basically they were alleging that I am a brain dead moron. And I would have absolutely no reason to do such a thing. So without a doubt, the claim is false.
So, I tried arguing the point, hoping that the completely confused look on my face would help to clear some things up. I asked for proof of this alleged porn, and was told that they don't have to prove anything to me. Right to work state, blah blah blah. So I asked what the material was... maybe there was some sort of misunderstanding. No misunderstanding. The HR person was apparently subjected to whatever my boss is claiming I downloaded, and was in complete agreement with my boss. I was to be terminated.
I brought up the fact that another employee had to use my login on that computer to fix something with my profile. This was completely ignored, and I was fingered as the culprit. They kept telling me that they had irrefutable proof that it was me.
I don't understand this at all. And apparently, according to them, I have no legal recourse for this. Is this true?
I'm so pissed right now, because it's difficult to find a job as it stands right now. To throw an involuntary termination on top of that? This makes my task in finding another job 10x as hard. I have not lost hope, though. I know that there's a job for me out there. And I know for sure that that job will be closer to my new home in Temple Terrace. I just need to find it.
I've already filed for unemployment, so that's covered. Monster.com is down right now, for some reason. I'll be checking other sites shortly for available jobs, but right now, I'm still reeling from this. After 3 1/2 years with the company, you'd think they'd come and talk to me about it first, instead of just flat out firing me.
