And as the extra kicker, I believe I'm in the same region with Team MNF, so there will be at least one matchup to see who fared better when all is said and done.
You're asking people to commit to a month (or two or three) of this, and on the second day we get a crazy deal. Factoring in what Gator traded to move up to take Muta in the first place...
The competitive balance just got thrown way out of whack. Should we just start consolidating picks down to 4 or so teams now?
Competitive balance? On a faux draft about professional wrestling? Jeebus.
BOOM. This. Also, if you don't like it, make a better trade. Don't piss on Team MNF because we had the balls to throw a trade out there that appealed to Gator. Plus, it's not as amazing as you all seem to think, wait til I get my Batiri vs. Kobold Chikara dream midcard match I've been pulling for!
The guys he really wants will probably be gone in the later rounds. He traded two guys for a shitload of picks in the next four rounds. Gator is, as we say in poker, "going all in."

Honestly Deadly, when running a theme, it's better to have quantity over quality. What I mean is that it's better to have a larger base of good talent, then a few great talents. Also, we have seen time in time again in the past that if asked to choose between a great main event with a lackluster undercard, or a card that is solid all the way through, people tend to lean towards the all around solid card. Both teams took calculated risks here, and I for one am really interested to see if it plays out.
Also Bartow, no way is that guy dropping to you, Gator is totally drafting him.
"Obama then drops the chair, looks out at the crowd, Sting lowers a mic and Obama can say "FINALLY BARACK has come BACK to the Presidential debates. Throw up the Presidential eyebrow, fade to black."
Moose describing how the Vice Presidential debates should have ended.
If we didn't veto Sting for an idea in the very first draft when it was made clear the only actual value to these guys is what you do with them, we shouldn't veto anything. Also, as good as Punk/Flair/Muta is at the top, there's only so much you can do with that before it gets boring and unvoteable. Especially when Flair/Muta has sorta been done in the real world and I actually don't have any interest in Heel Flair vs. Face Punk. It's a solid trade for what Gator is doing.
I hear what you're saying Doug, but... this trade gave Andy a bigger main event than should even be possible within this game.
Eh, yes and no. He has a great main event or two, but I think back to the 2010 draft. I trade a heck of a lot to get CM Punk, Kurt Angle, and Shawn Michaels. So much that when it was all said and done, I didn't have enough to make a great card. I got a few wins, but when it was all said and done, I ended up losing because "CM Punk vs. Kurt Angle vs. HBK" was great, but my tag team title match featured one team that was a lower tier team in the 2000s, and one team that appeared on TV for three weeks on Smackdown around 2006/2007, and I featured a bunch of international talents that no one had ever heard of. So, yeah, he's got the main event and maybe semi main event figured out, but it'll all depend on and how he fills out his roster from here. And with 22 people in this draft, by the time we get to the 8th round, it'll be hard to get top notch talent.
I think the trade will work itself out. And if both guys are happy with it, then Im not concerned about it.

I did forget that-- Even if Punk wasn't quite as huge then as he is now, that's an amazing group of headliners.
I did NOT forget that! Having a great top four that fit together well is key-- you can tag them, you can trade partners.... why the hell am I giving you ideas?
