Did you do something in the real world that made you say to yourself, "If I had said/done that on PunBoard I would have gotten some smites." Share it with us so you can get the smites you deserve!
I was listening to classic rock radio, and someone called in a request for Billy Squier's "Lonely is the Night." The song starts, and it's a very familiar tune, I'd heard it a million times without really noticing it particularly.
Doc: Dude, if you can't appreciate a joke that happens to be at your own expense, you are really in the wrong place.
Solly: Maybe, I kind of missed most of that during my self-imposed exile. Still, wasn't that more about telling embarrassing stories from your past? (Kind of like the old "Ammo" thread.) This is more about having a place to post embarrassing stories that just happened.
Of course, if no one has any, you could just smite me for mistaking Billy Squier for Robert Plant.

Doesn't this kinda reek of the 2T&L g@me? Which btw, we might want to think about bringing back due to the new blood we have here.
I really think it would be better to wait until some of these showdowns are over. Maybe then we could take a break from those and do a couple of weeks of 2T&L.
Or don't do either. If you can't find an image you like at either than don't force it. Just give me something you like and which will look good on the board.
Man, I'm jumping on this late but thinking Billy Squier was Led fuckin' Zeppelin just got you a smite, Serg. You should also be banned from listening to any rock music in the future.
If it's any consolotion, my bro the Goon, used to think that the song "I'll Wait" by Van Halen was Genesis. So you're not the only doofus.
Yeah, I'd heard "Lonely is the Night" a ba-zillion times on rock radio and had always thought it was Zep.
In the gooner's defense , though, you've got to admit that "I'll Wait" is mighty light for Halen.
I will definitely grant you that. The heavy keyboard/synth sound could throw people off. How you get Phil Collins and David Lee Roth confused is beyond me though.
And yes, Tex, Goon is not doing much to help himself lately. He needs to get back on here and defend himself and prove that he's not King Doofus. Which may be impossible at this point.
