Damn, these are two really solid lineups. Both guys have some excellent matchups, and really I can understand voting for either one. I think the humor in Mattes card speaks to me a little more personally, so he's getting the nod in this one, but I can see Eric putting together some great lineups going forward.

Your tag division. LGDI & The usos are god, but the rest don't make me want to watch

Kyle o'Reilly doesn't look like he fits in a submissions match. is he really that kind of wrestler?

Cesaro/Williams. That jumped right off the page to me.

Backlund/Taylor is fantastic

Don't Like:

The ME. benoit/Elgin would be good, but Teddy Hart in a ME bothers me. I know it's you and that's your guy, but still.

2 close cards. matte has too much Meh for me. Eric's ME puts it over the top.

Yea, O'Reilly fits the submission style as he's got that MMA-Davey hybrid style and I think he uses some sort of ankle lock/crab as a finisher sometimes. And in such a close match, I have to go with Matte for actually using more of his talent. The cards are close and Matte got there by using the entire roster he drafted.

It's damn close, but Matte gets the nod here by a hair. I'm looking forward to seeing more cards from these two.

I do like both of these a lot.

LOVE: Elimination Chamber Match, particularly because I think of all the newfangled stipulations, cage variants work well for old-school guys (*cough*Morales Fan*cough*) if they can get past the multi-man aspect.

LIKE: Bucks/Usos for sure, London/Lethal isn't a matchup I'd make but it's good nonetheless, MVP vs. Finlay plays to MVP's strengths as undersized but strong heel. Guerreros and Pitbulls are frequent draft picks for me.

MEH: Most of the remaining folks I know solely on rep, so it's harder for me to picture the matches. I suspect I'd like Omega/O'Reilly.

Matte

LOVE: Gabriel/PAC. And Brad Maddox on principle.

LIKE: Even looking past for you, I was never really a big Benoit fan, but Generico pushes me over to marginally Liking the main event if he gets past first round. I love Cesaro, though WIlliams doesn't excite me. I appreciate the NXT flavor on that six man, and Backlund/Taylor is the kind of old school I like.

MEH: Misawa is great, but I'm unsure of this matchup--was Dos Caras really great, or as much rep as talent (like Mascaras for at least some of his career)? Otherwise, I do like the flippy style but it gets to be a lot when the card is so long with Buddy Belts or Masked Tales.

Verdict: Somewhat similar cards, but if you gave me tickets, I would go see the Chamber in person. Not sure what's next for the follow up show though.Eric.

speaking of. One thing that bothered me was Omega/O'Reilly in a submission match. In hindsight, they'd work great together but idk if Submissions are OMega's forte.

I don't see why not. It'll limit floor seating a bit, but it's not nearly as small a venue as people think. If ROH can do cage matches there and I'm 95% sure they have, then an Elimination chamber would fit.

Don't worry, I was merely thinking out loud. I'm sure it'd fit, but they'd never be able to suspend it from the ceiling.
