Kerry & Lex? Interesting Team. I think it works.

Perfect/Ultimo is fantastic.

Raven Dusty would be a bloody brawl. I don't like Raven , but he and Dusty would work. A Street Fight is perfect for them.

Don't Like:

Martel being wasted in a 6 man. I understand the teaming of he, Ryan & Titus and it works, but working them with The Colony doesn't fit for me.

SG:

Like:

ME /RR, Naturally.

As much as I don't like Shane, (like Raven/Dusty for Carlito) he fits with Magnum.

Don't like:

Tim Woods not being called Mr. Wrestling while teamed with MW2.

DVE being in the early card. He and Dory I have done myself and it really clicks for me, but not for a plain underneath match.


SG will likely get Lou's vote with The MOWOAT & MW2 on the card, but I think I have to go... Carlito

I hate Carlito's main event, that being said, I really love the rest of his card, especially the perfect/dragon and raven/dusty matches, and the martel/ryan/titus is not a pairing I would have thought of, but it works so well together. SG on the other hand has a main event that I think would be a super fun brawl, but an undercard that really feels like a lot of "been there seen that" type matchups to me. They aren't bad matchups, just matchups I feel like i've seen done before. So I think Carlito is going to get my vote based on a more interesting undercard overcoming an underwhelming main event.

SG has a card I'd want to see. Carlito has a few wrestlers I'd want to see but not how they're being used. I hate Bret. I think Dusty is pretty much garbage. Lex/Kerry is void of actual talent. Tons of comedy tag teams. Not my style while SG has a fantastic card from top to bottom.

i'm torn between both cards. But there's a catch.

I'm not really well versed in too many "old school" American names so I can only enjoy Sports Guys card for so long. A few of these matches would be cool heavyweight dream matches that would deliver.

BUT Carlito's card, although not as stacked with "dreaminess" as Sports, has a card I could look at and enjoy every match without having to yawn. He's got a good mix of variety as well. He's got your technical clinic, your fast paced Puro match, high flying stuff, heavyweight power stuff, ect.

in the end, they both did a great job and are kind of tied. But i'm going with Carlito based on variety.

Two things I hate about Sporty's card: Stunning Steve wasn't really a legit main eventer (not that I remember, anyway) and Sabu vrs JYD? That's not good. That's not good at all.

Still voting for him, though.

I like SG's top two matches, but overall, I went with carlito.

If you can take these guys from any era, I think I would really like a version of Regal/Hart where Regal was the veteran face who finally bests the arrogant young heel Bret.

I should watch one of those Express^2 matchups from the right era tonight, as I only "know" through wrestling history that it's supposed to be amazing. Tentative Carlito vote until then, since I'm obliged.

Like: Hart/Regal, Raven/Rhodes
Meh: The Tag Team Battle Royal, mostly because I'm not familiar with some of the talent, but also because it seems like too many people, if that is possible.

SG-
Love: Austin/Piper. I know Stunning Steve Austin wasn't a main eventer, but based on talent alone, I think it works. Also love the tag title match.
Like: Douglas vs. Magnum could be OK, I think.
Meh: JYD vs. Sabu. Ouch.

It's close. I actually leaned SG's way, but I think I'd enjoy Carlito's more, even with all the guys I don't know. Changing my vote to Carlito. Sorry SG.
