Galactus has been at the center of lots of great stories--particularly the first one, back in the day. He's conducive to that, so he's got that going for him. He's such a big part of the FF story, I had a hard time excluding him. But he just isn't all that compelling himself for all of the reasons thorfag mentioned.

Word. If Deadpool ain't a villain Galactus ain't a villain. Deadpool is a sociopath killer assasin who has a sense of humor. Galactus is a guy who eats planets in order to live. He's a force of nature, not a villain. Deadpool choses to do what he does.

Catwoman's alternated hero and villain her entire career and has spent time as a legitimate protector of Gotham and has even teamed with the Justice League. She's never killed anyone, a plot point so strong that when Batman believes she has he turns on her hard. But she's a villain and Deadpool isn't?

Phoenix is a force of nature as well. Dark Phoenix is a villain but only because the Phoenix force drives her insane. The force eats. That's what it does. Like Galactus, that ain't malicious. And Phoenix has been a hero in more forms than a villain.

There is no consistency here, people! Except for me. I voted on Deadpool, Phoenix, Catwoman, and even Emma Frost. All split time and I didn't DQ any of them. Galactus just ain't that interesting.

I too completely forgot about Catman. But then again they turned him into a bad ass in the process of making him no longer a villain. So there's that.
