We talked a few years back about lowering the number of Minor League Keepers from seven to five. With the possibility of expanding to 14 teams, Mike and I think we should again look at dropping the number of minor league keepers. What do you guys think of dropping the Minor League rosters to five players, if we expand and even if we don't expand?

I will try to have Minor League eligibility details put together by the end of the month. If we decide to drop the Minor League roster to five, I'm hoping this off-season's eligibility will drop everyone to five. If not, I'm in favor of grandfathering players so owners don't have to drop a player.

Opposed. With the major league keepers still being limited at 5, we don't have a huge case of hoarding keepers for as long as you'd think. Yes, we can get some great bargains, but all that does is throw more top names back into the drafting pool as teams can't keep the higher priced keepers because of the limit of 5.

Once I got into it, I had a hard time deciding on just 7. Definitely don't want a lower number
