I'm proposing a slight change to the payouts.

Currently it is $80 to First Place, $30 to Second Place, and $10 to Third Place (based on the playoff consolation game).

I'm proposing we change it to: $80 First Place, $20 Second Place, and $10 to each Regular Season Champion.

I'd prefer to see the guys that dominate the regular season get something for their efforts.

We can of course consider alternate ideas as well. Please vote and let me know your thoughts below.

I like this as the champ in one division could be worse than the second place in the other.

Last in the league is still last in the league no matter if the are divisions or not. Either way is fine with me.

Based on the feedback over the last two weeks, there is strong support for the Solly payout plan. The change is that third place in the playoffs now gets nothing, while the regular season champ gets $10.

I'll give it another week, and if there aren't any arguments or objections, we can make it so.

Also, there seems to be mostly indifference regarding a change from two six-team divisions to just a single conference of 12 teams. I'll wait until we confirm the payout thing, and then start a poll for eliminating or keeping divisions.

OK. We've given this enough time. I'll declare that the Solly Plan is the new payout format: $80 to the Playoff Champ, $30 to the Playoff Runner-up, and $10 to the regular season champ.
