WAR presents Collateral Damage!!! Night 1

Josh Mathews welcomes us to the show. Mark Madden joins him and they throw it to Gene Okerlund who has the official 8 man bracket for the WAR Heavyweight Championship.

The bracket is as follows:
Ric Flair vs. Bob Backund
Hulk Hogan vs. Kevin Nash
HHH vs. Lex Luger
Adam Cole vs. Jerry Lawler

We go to the ring for Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan. As the match has progressed it appears Hogan has the match in hand until Ric Flair appears at ringside. The distraction allows Nash to powerbomb and pin Hogan. Nash advances.

The next match up is HHH battling Lex Luger. The match is hard fought back and forth but ends in a 20 minute draw. Both are eliminated, and more importantly the winner of Cole vs. Lawler advances to the finals.

Backstage, the Bloodline is gathered and Vickie asks JJ if it's a done deal? JJ excitedly says yes and he'll announce it later tonite.

Next up is Adam Cole vs. Jerry The King Lawler. The kingdom interferes and Cole is in the finals.

The last match of the first round, Ric Flair was about to put the figure four on Backlund until Real American blared on the speakers, the distraction allowed Backund to schoolboy flair for the upset win.

The tournament looks like this now:

Winner faces Adam Cole in the finals.

The Bloodline is in the ring.
JJ claims they have gotten the steal of a lifetime. No one can stop them cause they have the Viper Randy Orton!!!!



Orton comes to the ring, stares at JJ.

JJ extends his hand, Orton shakes it, but RKO's JJ!!!

Orton slides out of the ring as the Bloodline charge the ring. The show ends with Orton on the ramp posing and Vickie Guerrero livid.

Mathews: "Hello everyone we are back here in the Pontiac Silverdome, I am joined by Mark Madden, and the Bloodline is back in the ring."

Vickie: "Excuseeeee meeeee!!! Show respect for the leader of the bloodline, Jeff Jarrett!!!"

JJ: " Orton you made the biggest mistake of your life. You turned down the Bloodline, RKO'd and ran like a coward. You will pay for this, and it starts tonight with you facing Gene Anderson!!!! Now choke on that Slapnuts!!!"

Madden: "Well it looks like Randy Orton's stay in WAR will be short lived. Nothing new for him there."

(Backstage Paul Heyman is in his office with Kevin Nash and EC3.)

Heyman: "Gentlemen, tonite we have our first chance of total control and domination. We can easily seize the World Title and I have a plan in place to procure the tag titles as well. We can....."

(Knock knock)

(Linda McMahon and Arnold enter the office.)

Linda: "Good evening Paul, I believe Arnold would like to talk business with you."

Arnold: "That's right. Paul you've done an okay job so far, but the expectations are much much higher. New Champions will be crowned and at the end of the night I will present WAR with the best in the World!"

(Heyman's eyes light up and smiles)

Arnold: "No Paul, I didn't hire the Quitter. But you'll see who I mean later."

(Arnold andLinda leave, Heyman, Nash and EC3 look puzzled.)

Tag Team Turmoil match:
The Bromans and Adrenaline Express start, Robbie E hooks Rhett's tights and scores the 1-2-3.
War Machine is out next and one double powerbomb later, War Machine advances.
Doc & Gordy are out next. A hard hitting wild brawl ends with Doc & Gordy still standing.
The Freebirds are out next.
All 4 men just brawl all over. Blood dripping everywhere. The ref dqs all 4 men.
Out next and new WAR tag team champions, The Kingdom Michael Bennett and Matt Taven!!!

Randy Orton vs. Gene Anderson w/Vickie Guerrero.
Orton pins Anderson in 3:54.
The Bloodline charges the ring, but Orton runs out through the crowd.

WAR Championship Semifinal match:
Kevin Nash vs. Bob Backlund

Backlund is out first. Nash is out next with Heyman, EC3, and EC3's new girlfriend Mayrse.


Before the match begins Nash mocks Backlund's height. Heyman is talking to the ref, EC3 and Mayrse are making out and while Nash has his back turned, CLIFF COMPTON comes from under the ring and lays out Nash with a pipe. Backlund immediately covers Nash, 1-2-3 Backlund is in the finals.

Madden: "What the hell just happened?"

Mathews: "That was Cliff Compton, I guess he is in WAR?.?.?. But more importantly Bob Backlund vs. Adam Cole is set for the finals"

(Heyman, & EC3 tend to Nash pondering what happened.)

(Backstage Adam Cole tells the Kingdom this is their time.)

WAR Championship Finals:
Bob Backlund vs. Adam Cole
The match has been a back and forth classic. Over a half hour of great wrestling action. Backlund has appeared to set Cole's shoulder up for the cross face chicken wing, but the Kingdom interferes. Out comes the Adrenaline Express to fight them off. Backlund goes for the CFCW again, but TEST runs in and boots Backlund, leaves him laying, and leaves. Cole covers Backlund, 1-2-3!!! Your winner and new WAR Heavyweight Champion, Adam Cole!!!!

The Kingdom with Test Celebrate in the ring.

Backstage Gene Okerlund is with Arnold.

Okerlund:"Ok Arnold a new WAR Champion in Adam Cole has been crowned wrapping up a great night here at Collateral Damage. I understand you have one more piece of business."

Arnold: "That's right Gene, congrats to Adam Cole, but allow me to introduce WAR to the best Wrestler in the world,,,,, NAKAMURA!!!!"



(Adam Cole sees this in the ring and shakes his head.)

(Heyman, Nash, and EC3 watch this in the back and are furious.)

The show ends with Arnold and NAKAMURA leaving in a limo together.
