We will have 4 Goalie Categories next year.
There were comments suggesting we drop a percentage category. I'll use my commissioner powers to emphatically state that save percentage isn't going anywhere, so it'll be GAA on the chopping block.
Wins, Shutouts, and Save Percentage are locked in. We need to select a fourth.
GAA, Saves, or Losses.
For the record, it is fewest losses in a given week to win that category. Also, it appears that there isn't a Games Started threshold to qualify (like in GAA and SV%). So in theory, if you don't start any goalies during the week, you can win the Losses category.
It wasn't mentioned on the boards, but I've added saves as an option. I've played in leagues with both losses and saves, and I prefer saves as a category as it rewards goalies who work harder as they face a lot of shots, as opposed to GAA, which tends to reward goalies who don't face a lot of shots.
