Here's the deal: two owners have said they dislike this trade. It's been vetoed for now on ESPN, but if it passes a league vote, it can be proposed and accepted again, and it will be put through ASAP.

My thoughts - I guess it depends on what basis we want to use for "vetoing" a trade. I've been in lots of fantasy leagues covering many sports and my theory has always been this - if I legitimately think that two teams are colluding together in making a deal with some sort of behind the scenes agreement in place, then I would vote to veto. I have never voted against a trade just because I thought the deal was unfair or lopsided. I think that each owner is entitled to whatever deal he can negotiate, provided it is within the rules and there is no apparent collusion.
Do I think this deal is a bit one-sided? Yes, I guess it is. But I'm just going to kick myself for not making a low ball offer myself, rather than vote against it. I truly believe that every owner in this league would only make moves that they view are in the best interest of their own team, be it short-term or long-term. Unless proven otherwise, let the deal stand.

I don't think it's collusion.

As for my statistical analysis of the deal, JVR is injured, so he's kind of just a body.

Crosby isn't *CROSBY* this year, although he's had a good second half. Kopitar is rated higher right now on the season. You could easily argue that Kopitar for Crosby straight up is fair.

Nyquist has keeper value, and the third is valuable. Chara is doing well, but Z isn't a major piece this year (sadly).

Also.. And don't discount this... Each guy acquired their favorite player (or at least one of them). OTF probably overpaid for Z from me two years ago. I have made multiple deals In this league involving an owners favorite team, because I knew they would value those guys more than others.

So i actually think it's pretty fair.

I was totally kidding with the veto. I've seen way worse trades in C&B leagues. I don't think any trade should ever really be vetoed unless it's clear collusion.

I think vetos should be removed. Who am I to say how one team manages their players? If there's collusion going on, the Commissioner will take care of it in the off-season.

I am looking to get possible keepers for next year and a good high-round draft spot.
I am playing out my games. I am not sitting back and not playing in hopes of holding No. 2 draft spot. Are others? I really do not know, but there are some bad ass-kickings this week. ((To be clear, I am NOT accusing anyone of laying down but here is the scoreboard:
