Tim Sale has drawn several 12-issue Batman mini-series, notably The Long Halloween, (pictured.) He co-created the villain Holiday.

Norm Breyfogle drew a Batman title for six years straight from 1987 to 1993. He has returned to the character to do a number of short runs, mini-series and one-shots since then. He co-created the villain the Ventriloquist.

Breyfogle is an original. Sale, while very good, is also pretty derivative of Mazzucchelli.

However, they are both very good. Somebody please vote for somebody, so the winner doesn't have to be determined by a coin toss.

Hey, I would have preferred Breyfogle, but only by a little bit. I'm glad one of them is going on (to be destroyed by Miller in the next round anyway, no doubt) based on votes and not a damn coin flip.
