Just to give a brief summary since I didn't do write-ups or anything. The Battle World is based on two major stories that may or may not intersect down the line.

Lex Luthor and his Legion of Doom (Bowser, Caprica 6, & Dogma (Loki & Bartleby) trying to take down the multiple versions of The Doctor running around. The Doctor has a few companions to aid him in this; The Winchesters, River Tam & Lisbeth Salander. River & Lisbeth's social quirks clash a bit with Dean Winchester and The Doctor's optimism, but together they see the evil inherent within the LoD and know it needs to be stopped.

The second issue is that Spider-Man mocked Kylo Ren which has brought the full force of the Knights of Ren (Steelheart, Angelus, Eric Northman, & Ruth Wilder) into Spider-Man's orbit. We'll see if Spider-Man can find a group of amazing friends to have his back going forward.

Other than that, the rest of the company has found at least one partner or came into this with one partner and they understand having someone watching your back will be important in a world that is under constant battles.


ETA: I also went very simple with the first card as it's a lot of foundation and nothing has truly been developed for stipulations. The storylines would be handled in a very Lucha Underground telenovela style as well with cameras not being known and stories happening and not being mentioned until someone specifically mentions them.

Dev's explanation helps to flesh out things some. I love the main event, Luther vs. the Doctor, almost as much as I love Sherlock Holmes vs. the Joker. There is so much that could happen there. Bottom part of the card drops off for me, but I like the top pretty much.

Liz has a show that feels like an episode of RAW. There's a nice mix of comedy and seriousness here too. The gauntlet match feels a little heavy. I like Juggernaut vs. Terminator and the triple threat.

I some how always wind up against Dev. Well, more often than others. Very hard to vote for myself. Really enjoyed his card. Introduced me to some characters I honestly didn't know before

Things I like:

Dev - Lex vs. The Doctor is perfect. Cosmere and Knights of Ren are both great teams, though I feel they way over power their opponents. Winchester vs. Dogma and Swords vs. Killers are both smart.

Liz - Just thinking of taking George makes me very jealous. Terminator vs. Juggernaut and Rambo vs. Ra's are fun creative match ups that I would like to see.

Dev has a bit more depth on the card so he gets my vote.
