DRAFT RULES

• Everyone drafts 6 teams of fictional characters -- 3 hero teams and 3 villain teams. Team size is 4-10 and up to the drafter. The draft itself will be 40 rounds. You can call your draft at anytime and complete teams during add/drop if you want to.
  
• If a hero has an alter ego or secret identity, once that character is drafted, all other versions come off the table. In other words, if Bruce Wayne as Batman is drafted, all other Bruce Waynes (comics, movies, tv, cartoons) are gone. However, other characters acting as Batman are still eligible. UNLESS you can clearly show a different version. Best example of this, DC and Marvel and other mediums all have versions of the god Ares, if they are clearly different characters, they can all be drafted, but be specific which one you are drafting.
  
• If any question arises as to the eligibility of a pick, it will be up to the person making the pick to provide evidence of eligibility -- it's a big Internet. There are plenty of resources.
  
• 8-hour clock with overnight stoppage from midnight ET to 8am ET. If someone's clock runs out, the next person is on the clock, and the person who missed their clock can pick at any time (but a missed pick is a missed pick. If I take a guy you wanted after your clock ran out, you're SOL).
  
• Standard clock penalties apply: 1 miss = no penalty, 2 misses = 4-hour clock going forward, 3 misses = autoskip for the remainder of the draft.
  
• If someone makes an ineligible pick, their turn is over. The next person is up, and the guy who made the ineligible pick can repick at any time.
  
• If you have back-to-back picks -- whether you're first or last in the order or you've traded for them -- you have 8 hours to make BOTH picks. Not 8 hours each, 8 hours total.
  
• 24-hour add/drop will start at noon ET the day after the final pick is made. You can use this
  
• Fictional Portrayal Rule: Abraham Lincoln is not eligible to be drafted. Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, on the other hand, is. Basically a fictional representation of a real person is eligible as long as they appear in a clearly fictionalized telling of a story.
  
• Gods: Gods are eligible if it is based from a clearly fictionalized version; i.e. no using the Bible as your fictional book because I do not want to get into theological debates. The best example I can think of without major name-dropping; Jesus from the Bible, not eligible. Jesus from South Park, eligible.
  
• Final teams must be submitted to me via PM no later than 24 hours after add/drop ends. Submissions should be simply the team name and the team members. No pics, no formatting. Essentially, make it easy for me to copy and paste it into a showdown thread. You can do formatting/stories in your threads or after I post the poll.
  
• Don’t be a dick.
  
• Ask questions before making picks if you think there might be an issue.
  
• Trades are allowed.
