STATS! Through 107 picks.
Marvel leads the way with 23 Picks Total. 4 are X-Men, the rest have appeared in the MCU. Over 21% of the draft picks are Marvel based.
DC is in second place with 15 picks total. This does not include The Boys.
Third place is the Harry Potter Wizarding World with six picks. I am moderately surprised that it is ahead of Star Wars, which has five picks.
Stranger Things has four selections, and I am quite surprised that the Disney Universe has three selections.
There are seven franchises with two selections. The first six are Lord of The Rings, Die Hard, Star Trek, Firefly/Serenity, Breaking Bad, and The Terminator. I am putting all Steven King novels under one umbrella, so this is the seventh franchise.
This leaves 37 draft picks from their own unique franchise (so far).
Since the last Statistical Post:
I believe we have seven selections that debuted in (and are best known for) a video game. Feel free to correct me on this one.
I didn't call this out in the previous stats, but Ahsoka Tano debuted in an animated series and (at least until her Disney+ Live Action Series is released), is best known as an animated character. Now four more characters that debuted in Animation (as opposed to Comic books or live action film/tv or video games) have been drafted. That would be the three Disney characters and one from The Simpsons.
And without getting too heavily in to arguments over Alien species, we only had one non-humanoid in the first 58 picks, and now we have a dinosaur, a Stitch, an "Artificial Neural Network", a Shark, and a Predator.
Finally, only a single trade has been made through 107 picks.
Those last two picks hurt. I had just moved Jessica up based on the Killgrave pick and had been slotting Percy in as a pick at some point.
I almost took Jessica Jones when I took Kilgrave. She fits on a different team than Kilgrave, though.
Kilgrave was on the top of my board last time around, when I took Daredevil and Dexter, but I thought the other two would be taken off the board first.
Also, Dev. Are you going to open a Sub-Board for this?

I would hope she fits on a different team since, ya know she's a hero and he's one of the best villains Marvel has done.
And yes, I can open a sub-board. Which will be done by the time you see this post. I hope.

So... help me out on the rules. Do you need to prove that someone was used as a hero or villain in order to use them as such? I am planning on using Kilgrave as a villain, but could he be used on a hero team?
Also, I am currently planning on using Harley Quinn as a villain, but I partially chose her as she can also work on one of my hero teams.

Thanks!
You can put anyone, anywhere you want. But I think, as an example, if you put Peter Parker on a villain team, it probably wouldn't do very well in the showdown portion because...he's not a villain so there'd be definite chemistry issues with regards to which team wins in a fight and I'm not sure how interesting it would be to read/watch about Peter and a bunch of other villains.
Harley is a great example of someone who can be used on either side and depending on the makeup of the team will decide if it works, for me.
So, yes Killgrave could be on a hero team. I personally wouldn't vote for that team unless there was something truly massive that made it work.
Was kinda surprised this one was still available, but the movies were bad and they haven't announced the casting for the MCU yet, but I'll take one of Marvel's best villains at 117.
