Very fun grouping here on the power side and I can be swayed between Super Unnatural and For Country as my 2nd vote. I don't think either matches up to the across the board power of BAD. We have a slayer, a true superhero, whatever River is, an Ice Elemental basically, a sonic power, an across the board elemental, and a wizard. Tough to match up but the other two teams do a solid job.

Deadpool, Constantine, and Ash have power but I'm not sure they can take Cap. And I'm not entire sure Luke Hobbs is human either. The rest of the teams are all mostly human so that's a wash. It really comes down to Deadpool, Constantine, and Ash vs. Cap & Hobbs so I can be swayed there. I just worry that Deadpool actually has too much respect for Steve and doesn't fight him.

Captain America is the team leader of a bunch of muscle heads that can kick ass and take an ass kicking and keep going. Clear winners here. Now Super Unnatural does have some heavy hitters with Deadpool and Constatine, but I can't help by think that Captain America figures out what to do with them. Supergirl and Elsa almost has me going the other way, but the rest of that team goes down pretty quick and with Captain America up six to two, he figures it out.

Buffy takes down the 4 humans by herself. I don't care how tough Dutch, Rambo, Ryback, and the Bear Jew are...they are normal humans while Buffy's upper limits are probably close to Cap's. I don't get how that's even close.

2 replies to that, first you need to be able to hit her and as mentioned...supernatural speed and agility.

And second, by that logic every character with a gun > basically every other character except those who literally can't be harmed by a gun but even in some of those case that can be worked around. In this specific matchup, Cap isn't bulletproof and would be destroyed by Supergirl, Elsa, and Alex since you think magic is a far superior power than other things.

This is why the "Who wins in a fight" criteria is ridiculous IMO. Different universes allow for different powers to prevail, and we're mixing them all. There is no argument that will ever definitively win.

I pretty much agree with you on the power thing but I know it’s been used as a deciding factor by some in previous showdowns so I was hoping to give it its own due but not sure it’s working great. Something to consider for the next person who runs a hero/villain showdown since I know I won’t be running this one again.

Aint no harm in trying something new. I remember thinking running a Double elimination bracket for the Wrestling draft the one year was a great idea, and someone.... (Creepy maybe?) ended up having to make like 8 cards and he just decided to quit right before the end. You live you learn.

And run it again, man. Tweak it and lets have some fun down the road.

Alex is a novice witch. Elsa is just now embracing her powers and they’re very specific cold based, not a broad spectrum. Supergirl isn’t magic and Kryptonians are very susceptible to magic (of course, depends what version of Supergirl you’re using).

If you’re not giving set parameters I can imagine the fight any way I want. In my mind Captain America sees a conflict coming in advance and sets up Rambo in a sniper position and Dutch in a mid-range. He strafes the area and Rambo picks off what he doesn’t get. Above average speed and agility doesn’t help when you don’t see it coming. That leaves Elsa and Supergirl. Which I admitted above would be a very tough fight for that team.

I don’t think this is right or wrong. I just see it a different way.

Leo makes a solid argument, but I'm on the other side of it. I feel like Cap and His Mercuns would definitely do some damage, but they're just outmatched.

There's something there as a Stallone/Arnold combination of normal humans is somehow beating two teams with multiple supernatural people. Like I've said...Cap is one of my favorite characters of all-time in any medium and I think he's tough to take down, but there's no chance the rest of that team stands up to the combinations they are going against. Even if you want to go with the Batman beats Superman if he has enough planning theory, there's just too many variables on the other two teams. On a pure power level, as enhanced as Cap is he's probably on par with Buffy which means he's far below Supergirl and Elsa. And that means the rest of the team is far below River, Alex, Viktor, and Leeloo.

And as I mentioned, the only issue I'm having voting for Super Unnatural over For Country is I'm not sure Deadpool would fight Cap but if he does, again...For Country's power levels just don't match up.

For Country is a very good military style team that would be great for infiltration and rescue type ops, but if you put them against a super supernatural team, they are getting torn to shreds.
