I must have missed Frank Pembleton and Robocop.

I don’t love some of the characters, but you’ve got two iconic “I don’t follow the rules” cops mixed with a couple of more “By the book” detectives, three of which have loud personalities. Plus Robocop. I think it’s pretty well thought out.

I didn't say the characters dynamics wouldn't be unique but at the end of the day, I don't see how it elevates beyond typical police procedural show or typical crime drama. Not that it's necessarily bad, but I'd rather read/watch the Marvel been there done that over the cop been there done that.
