Whle I agree that a "Steal a movie" from someone rule might make drafts more exciting, we don't have that rule in place yet and I just took this.
Edit: Also, I'm up. I really wanted Miracle or Remember the Titans for my sports movie but waited too long on both of them. Now I'm torn torn between a few, going off personal preference here.
Realizing that my Dodgeball pick can be used for my Razzie nominee, I'm shuffling that over and subbing this in as my sports movie to avoid having to take what would've been my Razzie pick.
52. The Longest Yard (2005)
Say what you want about it, I think it's an enjoyable movie.
Need to cement a comedy on my list. Going between a few options here. I never saw the second or third, but I remember the original being funny and ubiquitous at the time.
Gladiator was going to be the pick here to get my Oscar nominee but missed that chance. Instead, I’ll grab an overlooked Oscar nominee film I think that I really really liked.
Dammit Solly, I had that all lined up for a wild card. Moving on, I'm torn between two of my favorite films of all time here. I'm betting this is the least likely to slip back to me. By far my favorite Bond film ever.
"I'm not going to have any trouble with you am I Mr Bond?"
Quick question that may shape my (and I'm sure other's) strategy. Are doing polls for each category or just best studio overall?
To answer this question probably way too late at this point: I'm thinking polls for each genre along with a "best overall" poll, person who wins the most polls wins the showdown.
