So Bart Allen got killed by the Rogues, unable to use the Speed Force to heal himself because something was wrong with it.
Around about the same time it seems, Wally and his family where brought back from the Speedforce asa side-effect of the Legion bringing back an unknown person from the dead. The old Flash series will continue with the old numbering, presumably starring Wally.
So was it necessary to kill Bart off to bring Wally back? I think they could have just had Bart deciding that it's Wally's role for now, and in the meantime, going back to being an adult Impulse. Thought this could be part of a bigger plan, as it can't just be coincidental that the Legion positioned themselves round places with connections to The Flash. Wally coming back wasn't expected by Brainiac 5, so it might be another Speedster they saved. Bart or Barry. And isnce it seems that Legion is from another earth now, it's a way to have those characters around without having to step on Wally's toes.
But it sure seems like a pretty important storyline, since Bart had connections to the JLA, JSA and the Titans, and the Rogues are a part of Countdown and ought to be marked men now, eh?
