This is tough. Field of Dreams is one of the few movies that makes me cry but then again, seeing Thora's 16-yr-old boobies made me cry when I realize I was 24 and she was 16.

You want moments? Moonlight Graham finally getting an at-bat, only to go back to his true calling of being a doctor. Terrence Mann's speech about how baseball is life. Ray and his father finally having a catch. Both are amazing but Field gets my vote.

I love the comments on that page. "In real life girls don't go for a guy like that because they can't see past the surface and just hang onto physical beauty." Or, you know. They're weirded out by the deranged, depressed, drug dealing, stalker.

Damn, that's lame. Ricky Fitts is not the poster child for maladapted, misfit teen boys. The awesome thing about that character was his confidence. He knew who he was and what he wanted, and he wasn't the least bit shy about it.

Plus, American Beauty reminds how cool it was for awhile to name things "American ______" It got old. And lame.
