Finally something I've seen that I'm voting for not against. Scary Movie 2 was absoluety garbage. One was funny and followed a logical plot with a fun Usual Suspects ending. Two was just a trainwreck and absolte crap. At least 3 got back on track and made some sense.

Come on, the Nike commercial ripoff was awesome. Sure, everything else was absolute and utter garbage, but the basketball skit was great.

That being said, since I actually saw this movie I the theater TWICE, and I don't really remember why - that was a weird time for me - I'm absolutely positive that Scary Movie 2 is the shittier movie of these two.

I hate the Postman. It was Waterworld, only instead of gills, he had a MAIL SACK. Utter crap. Top to bottom garbage. Tom Petty, playing the part of Tom Petty, should have been around 100 years old for fuck's sake.

Seriously, Postman had crap loads of money and lots and lots of advertising in a quest to make the most insipid pile of crap possible. There was insanely stilted dialogue, Costner thinking he was some kind of messiah when he's delivering the god damn mail, gratuitous shots of Costner from above to further the messiah complex and cheesy evil guys. Horrible, horrible movie here.

Seen both. Have to go with The Postman. Because everyone knew SM2 wasn't going to be great. It looks like they actually tried with The Postman.

And Anna Faris is adorable, and Kathleen Robertson is extremely fuckable. Scary Movie 2 has it's redeeming qualities right there. Kevin Costner should stick to fun sports movies.

I agreed 100% with Creepy's statement that we all knew SM2 would be bad. Scary Movie was a HUGE success. It was a perfect spoof and really brought about another wave of spoof films. I saw Scary Movie multiple times in theaters. I had very high hopes for the sequel.

I hadn't seen either movie, but this was the patented Lucky Lopez "when all else fails, which movie had the hotter chick?" logic I used that resulted in Scary Movie 2 winning by that logic and therefore not being the worse of the two movies here.

Cause it didn't go the way I wanted it to. Duh. It was a combination of sci-fi turning into the Arnold showdown with Empire waiting to win along with fucking Rocky winning best picture and the start of the Action showdown being all Sly/Arnie while films like Sin City, Kill Bill, and the Matrix all disappeared from showdowns way too early.

I was just really disappointed with how much thw two guys seemed to dominate the polls for like 2-3 weeks. I expected a Empire-Jedi final from the start, so that's not what I meant...but Serenity and Matrix both losing in the first round annoyed the fuck out of me.

I still don't know WHY Serenity losing early is so bothersome. If you didn't watch Firefly it wasn't anything special. I really tried. I went out and rented it. It wasn't even that high of a seed. It should have been expected.
