I'm one of the few who liked Batman & Robin. It's easily the worst of the Batman movies but I liked the villains enough to be entertained. The inclusion of Bat Girl was pretty dumb though.

I've only seen 3 of the 8 movies in this round. Batman & Robin is the only one I'm voting for.

I'm shocked and appalled that there's a LOTR movie in this showdown.

Fahrenheit 9/11 wasn't bad. It wasn't as good as Columbine, but it wasn't bad.

XXX is my vote. Jesus, what a disaster. Thank Christ I didn't pay for it in the theatre. Can't say the same for Batman and Robin. My wife and I paid for it in the theatre. I was yelling at the screen about 2 seconds in. What crap.

However, it does not get my vote. State of the Union tried to recapture the essence of my beloved 80's action films only to fail miserably.

Batman and Robin crippled the Batman franchise to the point were only the awsomeness of Batman Begins could save it.

I didn't see State of the Union, but it probably couldn't have sucked much more than the first one.

"The Batman movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger came on the other day and I watched it. That has got to be the worst fucking movie ever made."

There were only two directors in the original Batman series. Burton and Schumacher. And Schumacher didn't ape his style, he had his own style. Which sucked ass.

I liked the Burton Batmans. Schumacher directed the terrific Falling Down, and his first Batman film, Batman Forever, wasn't even that bad. He must've lost his mind sometime between Batman Forever and Batman & Robin.

I'm voting for B&R on this basis:

XXX: SotU was supposed to be bad. I never watched it thinking it was going to be good.

However, I expected a Batman movie to be good. Especially with Ivy, one of my fave villians, and Freeze, who was always pretty bad-ass. But that movie was so god-awful that I've never watched it again. It even took some of the luster off Batman Forever. Horrible, horrible movie.

Therefore, movies that guarenteed to be bad >>>> movies that lure you in with the appearance and expectation of being good
