The Ring is one of the few in the new wave of Horror Films that I really enjoyed.

I always miss Gator but I especially miss him quoting Cheech's "pussy" scene.

What I loved best about FDTD is it went from being a terrific road movie (the sheriff in the Quick Mart kills me every time) to a terrific vampire movie in the blink of an eye. Fucking awesome.

If it was the original, no the remake (not seen it), I'd vote for The Ring (isn't that title incorrect? I thought "Ring" referred to the telephone ringing as part of the curse, not an actuall "Ring", hence the original title jsut translating as "Ring"), but it's from Dusk Till Dawn here...

The book sequels are "Spiral" and "Loop." And this poster has the ring although it might just be an Americanized thing.



I watched the entire Ringu series before ever seeing The Ring and I seem to recall that image being there in the J-Horror line.

Well, you're welcome to keep them together if it makes it easier. I don't like the remake, so I didn't vote for it, but if it's going to be a lot of work to change things, then keep it as is. The Ring isn't going to win anyway.

Problem is you weren't the only one and Ringu has its own category. I just screwed up and failed to make the connection that "the Ring (original)" = "Ringu." Complete screw up on my part. I'm going to have redo the brackets and plls. Please let this be minimal change but its probably going to knock Ring off, maybe bump Ringu up, and change a bunch of the slotting.

I actually enjoyed the american The Ring over the Japanese version of Ring.

I enjoyed DTD more then both.

But when you see that poster it's clearly been done to cash in on the success of the remake. It's like whenever a film is based on a book, and the book's cover is changed to a pic from the film, even if the film had a lot of differences.
