Leaning towards voting AJ, but willing to be convinced. Tommy was great at his character, and AJ not so much. But AJ can tell a great story in the ring. His match with Tiger Mask last night was awesome.

I love A.J. but Tommy was an integral part of the greatest years of ECW so I've just barely gotta go with him. This was a tough one though.

I acknowledge from what I've seen in the past few weeks of watching wrestling again that AJ is one heck of a lot more natural and fun to watch than he used to be in promos and backstage stuff.

But isn't playing the dunce kind of the path of least resistance for him? I mean, Orton would probably be entertaining if he was intentionally cast as a dumbass, rather than unintentionally sounding like one.

Seriously, Serg. And I know you've been out of wrestling for awhile so you've missed this. AJ has been BRILLIANT. Its not just typecasting to something that naturally fits. The guy has had some of the most awesome lines, reactions, and body language of anyone I've ever seen. And I don't think its that unreasonable to compare AJ's 2007 breakout as a character to Edge's 2006 breakout. And like I said, I'm not blaming you. That criticism of AJ would be 100% reasonable 12 months ago. Its just been a GREAT year for AJ as a character. Even Rick, who has called him a wasteland of charisma for years who is in no way ready from primetime, has complimented him and said that he showed the ability he never had before.

I don't think I would have nominated AJ a year ago. A great, if sometimes spotty, wrestler who hadn't become a full performer yet. He has. I don't think that the fact that his character is a bit of a twit is a knock. Because maybe you can believe that he's just a bit of a twit himself. But really, the sort of gold he's spun with Angle, Cage, and Tomko the last year? So much more than just playing the dunce.

I don't know if these fully display it because I really do think you had to watch the week in and week out and a lot of it, like with Tomko, has been what he's done in the background. But here's a clip from the last year. Unfortunately TNA doesn't seem to have much of the Coalition backstage stuff, which surprises me.

Okay, as someone who's never seen an entire episode of TNA or ECW, why should I care about this?

It's a guy who got his ass kicked and puked on demand, if I remember correctly, versus a guy I've heard is the shit but haven't been impressed with in or out of the ring.

Again, why should I vote, and who should it be for?

Oh this is tough. AJ's a fantastic wrestler and, like Lucky said, no one can say that his character isn't one of the best TNA has right now. On the other hand, Tommy was an ok wrestler, but I loved his character and his years of loyalty to Paul E. and ECW demand respect.

I'm giving it to Dreamer.

Because of gooker's video link I've been rewatching as much of the Dreamer/Raven ECW stuff as I can and I'm not sure if Dreamer's somehow going to sneak by here and in some ways even though he's my favorite wrestler ever probably I can see the case against him and won't be too disappointed in a loss even though I do think he's done more than AJ has so far. AJ in another year or two could overtake him, but for now I still think Dreamer deserves the win here, but just based on his gimmick-maybe it's more fitting he loses here.

But the main thing I'm going to say is if/when we ever do Best Feud, if Dreamer/Raven doesn't win...it'd be a travesty if it loses. There has never been a feud better booked from start to finish than Dreamer/Raven and everything in between with Beulah, Kimona, Stevie, Lee, Bruise Bros. Pitbulls, Shane, Funk and everyone who became an integral part of the feud. So, vote for Dreamer here because he's just a bit better than Styles for now...but when the time comes, Dreamer/Raven better win.
