In the opening round, Curt Hennig chopped down the Big Show because Hennig is, well, Perfect. He will need to be perfect yet again, as he draws the top seeded and Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle in the second round. It’s the Perfect plex vs. the Anklelock. Angle is obviously the favorite here, but a wise philosopher once said: “NOBODY BEATS MR. PERFECT!! Nobody.”

I hate this, cause I love Hennig, but I can't vote against Angle here. Perfect deserved better than this draw. He should've been a 3-5 seed.

add Perfect vs. Angle to Bret vs. AJ as matches I wish I could have seen. I voted for Angle, but I agree with Mike, Perfect deserved better

In Hennig's defense, the Perfect vignettes > Angle's Olympians for Abstinence campaign. The Perfect vignettes > everything except MAYBE the Million Dollar Man skits.

I love Perfect as well but I've got to go with Angle. Angle just accomplished more and he's still accomplishing more. And I can remember more great matches Angle was in than Perfect. Even though Perfect's matches against Bret Hart were....perfect.
