everyone else currently has 0 points, so i'm not gonna bother to list everyone.

i'll post a new one of these threads whenever a new skrull is revealed, be it in a tie-in or in the next issue of secret invasion.

Sue Storm counts? It didn't look to me like she'd been replaced for a while, just that one Skrull took on her form in that issue to get into the Baxter Building.

Sue Storm shouldn't count, she was on the Baxter Building tour and changed into sue in the library.

well i guess it all depends on whether the real sue has been captured. if they show her free and uncaptured, and like just hanging in central park at the time or something, then i'll retract it. but right now for all we know, sue storm skrull was using her shape shifting powers to get in unbothered. or she was just recently infiltrated, but infiltrated none the less. like i said, it all comes down to where the real sue is.

for now it counts.

I agree with those who say Sue shouldn't count -- if she does, then so should all of the Skrulls at the end of the book. There's no evidence that she was a Skrull before that panel.

I get your reasoning, Tard, but I think it should be that it doesn't count until it's proven that she was a Skrull previously.

i'm sticking with my ruling. if she was abducted and replaced, it will count. if she was just impersonated then it will be retracted.

in the meantime i'm keeping it up so there's more people listed in the standings

I was able to pick up a copy last night. It was awesome. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
I am in the camp that thinks that Sue doesn't count. The Skrull comes in looking like someone else, and then changes into Sue.
How long ago (in Marvel time) was the Kree-Skrull war? It seems like an awful long time for the heroes to be gone.

The ship in the savage land have to be Skrulls, but it looks like they think they're who they look like. Maybe some of the invaders are like the Humanoid-Cylons in the new Battlestar Galactica, they don't know until something flips a switch and triggers something?

Because letting things go is not now, nor has it ever been, my strong suit, here's an interview CBR did with with Bendis.

CBR: Readers will notice the Skrull here, transformed into the Invisible Woman in the lobby of the Baxter Building. This seems to indicate, unlike some of the other Skrull agents revealed in this issue, the Invisible Woman impersonator has only recently gotten into place and the real Sue Richards has not been missing for very long.

Bendis: That’s exactly true.

There's other good stuff in the interview. It confirms that Reed Richards it still alive and that Manhattan isn't wholly swallowed up into the Negative Zone.

OR, because the Skrulls supposedly want to make things "better" on earth, they're going to replace the heroes with more "pure" versions of them, with less grittyness and baggage, and those are skrulls that believe they're those characters.

yeah, just read it last night. captain marvel is a skrull who was brainwashed into thinking he really was captain marvel, and was infused with his dna. his brainwashing screwed up and he is now (as far as i can tell) incapable of shapeshifting (whether that's a physical block or a mental block i don't know) and is basically now for all intents and purposes mar-vell. he's got mar-vell's genetic make up, his memories, his cancer, his everything. functionally speaking he's more like a clone than a skrull invader, but the fact is he is made from a skrull intended to be a sleeper agent. he's NOT the original captain marvel. i say that makes him a skrull. though i'll take discussion on the subject. i intend on putting him on the list during the next update (which will be this week if anyone is revealed in mighty avengers #12).

sue storm is still up in the air. i'm still waiting for confirmation of whether she's been kidnapped or is just away.
