Week 3's voting is closed, and we have the consensus #2 reigning supreme as #1!
Pun's House 12-Pack for Week 3
1. Petey Williams (14 votes, 0 first place votes, 59.5 pts)
"Petey was smarter because he got his title. Sure Edge did it first... and second. But a smart move is a smart move and a smart man learns from others." ~Lucky
"Winning the X division title in devastating fashion. I love the angry Maple Leaf Muscle." ~ultimatejobber
2. William Regal (11 votes, 6 fpv, 52 pts)
"For entertaining me in the ring for the first time in a loooong time. Been too long, Sir William, too long." ~creepy
"Inside the ring and out, he made the most of his homecoming." ~wld
3. AJ Styles & Tomko (12 votes, 3 fpv, 46 pts)
"Intelligent angles, entertaining promos, exiting matches... the future of wrestling is now." ~iamdoug
"They are probably the bigger reason that the Eric Young/Super Eric stuff turned around for me. Seeing Stylers bitch and moan while Tomko seemed embarrassed was awesome." M-kid
4. Mickie James (13 votes, 1 fpv, 41 pts)
"I've been wanting her to get back into the spotlight of the women's division, and I hope this leads to something bigger for her..." ~G-B
"She beat the unbeatable Phoenix to become Women's champ. Afterwards, she reminded everybody that she's still a psycho." ~Sergei
5. Chris Jericho (11 votes, 4 fpv, 39 pts)
"When the two guys involved in the hottest feud going finally run out of interesting things to say to each other after four straight shows in two weeks, here he comes to save the day!" ~Sergei
"He's going to be serving as the special guest ref in the match between Batista and HBK, and it makes me wonder if the WWE actually took my suggestion to heart." ~TheDemko
6. Kazarian & Super Eric/Eric Young (7 votes, 26.5 pts)
"Kaz begging Super Eric to give up his secret identity so they could keep their new belts, Super Eric not giving anything away, and naming his lineage. Goofy, but funny." ~dxb
7. Jim Cornette (5 votes, 2 fpv, 20 pts)
"His character added to EVERY segment he was in and made them better..." ~dxb
"Screwing up his line about sticking something through his carotid artery only made me love him more." ~bd
8. James Storm (5 votes, 12 pts)
"Sorry 'bout your damn Cowboy Gimmick, Kip." ~DiamondDallasTommy
"The man is just funny. Period." ~TheDead
9. Roxxi Laveaux (6 votes, 11.5 pts)
"Is it me, or did she look insanely good in that match vs. Kong? Ok, it's prolly just me, but she looked insanely good against Kong." ~Diamond Dallas Tommy
"Made Awesome Kong look, uh, awesome-er, but pulled herself up by her bootstraps to be a continued contender, I believe." ~TheDemko
10. The Murder City Machine Guns (2 votes, 9 pts)
"Yeah, I didn't see the matches, but they are supposed to be damn good and I can't help but vote for these guys." ~TheDead
11. TIE - Jimmy Jacobs and Christian Cage & Rhyno and The Undertaker
Others receiving votes: Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Morrison & The Miz, Team 3D, Austin Aries & Lacey, Kurt Angle, Umaga, Jay & Mark Briscoe, Batista, Scott Steiner, LAX, Santino & Carlito, The Age of the Fall, Booker T, Mike Adamle.
Very interesting to read the results this week. Petey Williams the closest race yet without even getting a #1 vote. That's like winning the NASCAR Sprint Cup but never actually winning a race (which has also been done.). Very close at the bottom, with the "established stars" on the outside looking in, even if by only one point.
Thanks to all 18 of you who voted this week. I assume you'll all be back to vote for William Regal in Week 4!
