Week 5 is over…and what a simply phenomenal week it was!
Pun's House 12 Pack - Week 5
1. AJ Styles (& Super Eric) (13 votes / 5 first place votes / 63 pts)
“A slow and Realistic face turn for the phenomenal one is coming to a fruition, AJ is a sidekick no more.” ~iamdoug
“His story this week took him to see Booker T, Roode & Storm, Kevin Nash... each and every one of them, comedy gold.” ~TheDemko
The overwhelming majority of the votes were for AJ Styles, but Super Eric, as his partner, was shown some love as well…
2. Scott Steiner & Petey Williams (12/5/54.5)
“He's really learned how to take his rambling moon language and make it work to his advantage!” ~TheDemko (on Scott Steiner)
“Smarts, for once, propel him to new heights.” ~creepy (on Scott Steiner)
“The transformation into little Petey pump has been tremendous, this could be the serious revitalization the x-division needed.” ~iamdoug (on Petey Williams)
“Petey worked his ass off in their match, and if you didn't love Scott's promo you're a crazy person.” ~bd
More people voted in Scott Steiner than voted in Petey, but as a team they got support, and PEtey still got more love than Super Eric…
3. LAX of Homicide, Hernandez, Salinas & Hector Guerrero (14/2/43)
“…the 7th best Guerrero will lead them to glory.” ~jetskid48
“They've gotten their anger and ruthlessness back. They're talking and making threats. And they now add Guerrero for guidance. It makes sense and it has me believing that they're the favorites in a tournament that conventional wisdom would say will end with one of the makeshift teams holding the gold.” ~Lucky
4. Cheerleader Melissa (9/0/23)
“Now TNA, since you are listening. Raesha Saaed = heel, Cheerleader Melissa = face.” ~dxb
5. Samoa Joe (6/0/21)
“The combination of being a badass and reveling in his role as champion make him a guy you want to build your company around.” ~wld
6. Mr. Kennedy (4/2/20)
“Kennedy’s interruption of Regal was 1) great to see and 2) well put together. I love Kennedy’s facial expressions and puppy-dog eyes when he’s sarcastically hurt by his opponents words.” ~AttitudeAdjuster
7. Chris Jericho (5/1/19)
“Jericho actually got me to stop everything I was doing and pay attention to the Highlight Reel for fear I would miss something. He is the best jerk in wrestling.” ~ultimatejobber
“Was a total asshole, but was also incredibly entertaining while being one.” ~producenahater
8. Velvet Sky & Angelina Love (5/0/18)
“Congrats to both of you ladies for making me care as much about your characters as I care about your asses.” ~G-B
“They cut a cromulent promo, then had a damn good match. I really, really wanted them to come out of it with the win.” ~bd
9. William Regal (4/0/14)
“Potatoing the crap out Mr. Kennedy? Badass. Cutting to black? Badass. King General Manager Lord William Regal? Badass.” ~Sergei
“The push continues, and he continues to be awesome.” ~wld
10. Awesome Kong (4/1/10)
“This could potentially mean a more competitive "Knockouts" division; a division which is currently stronger than the WWE Divas Division, Tag Team Division and the defunct Cruiserweight Division combined.” ~Diamond Dallas Tommy
11. John Morrison & The Miz and MVP and Matt Hardy (all 3/0/
Others receiving votes: Motor City Machine Guns, Mike Adamle, Roddy Piper, Daizee Haze, Jim Cornette, Vacant, Trevor Murdoch, MsChif, Michelle McCool & Cherry, Gail Kim & ODB, Victoria & Natalya, Curt Hawkins
