Week 7 is over, and our judgment is for...Gail Kim![/b]
Pun's House 12-Pack Week 7
1. Gail Kim (16 votes / 7 first place votes / 65.5 points)
“She put on her bumping shoes and got to work.” ~TheDead
“The losing end of that match did the most work in my opinion. Kim has really perfected the way to fight Kong and avoid her size and strength. That match was almost entirely Kim because she just kept moving and showed that she is learning from the losses. I love it.” ~Lucky
2. Awesome Kong (12/3/48)
“I'm not sure where they take her character after she loses the title, but I can't wait to see it happen.” ~iamdoug
“She was one half of the best women’s match I’ve seen since their no-dq one. For the first time ever, it’s wrestling as opposed to ‘women’s wrestling’.” ~needsmorecowbell
3. Samoa Joe (12/3/44.5
“For continuing to toe the line between face and heel, which he could officially jump over at any time he wanted to.” ~TheDemko
“JOE is a machine. He did the heavy lifting in the six man and opened the show with a promo and brawl (and promo) with Booker.” ~bd
4. Shawn Michaels (11/1/33.5)
“"I'm telling you, Chris, I'm not hurt." That was golden.” ~ultimatejobber
“…it's the non-wrestling "little things" that give Shawn the clear edge. That little smug smile when he knows he's gotten into Jericho's head is a thing of beauty....” ~Sergei
5. Booker T (8/1/33)
“And we can "All Hail King BOOKAH" once more. This time without Sharmell, which will be interesting.” ~Diamond Dallas Tommy
“…he's become interesting for the first time in TNA.” ~producenahater
6. John Morrison & The Miz (5/3/26)
“When Miz kept up with Punk I was surprised. When Miz defeated Punk cleanly I was shocked. Then Morrison got the pin on Punk at Judgement Day. I've always liked Nitro/Morrison but I used to hate Miz. Now he is pretty damn good in the ring and is a character I enjoy. When did that happen?” ~metallikid
“Beating Kane and then beating down Punk on Tuesday got them on the board, but beating them both at the PPV made them No. 1 on my list.” ~AttitudeAdjuster
7. Chris Jericho (7/0/20.5)
“A great promo on raw and a great match at the PPV. He is literally the only reason I still watch WWE.” ~iamdoug
8. The Beautiful People of Angelina Love & Velvet Sky (7/0/19)
“Velvet Sky & Angelina Love are absolutely perfect for their gimmick, and I love watching them develop each week. I think Love is carrying the team right now, but Sky is stepping up in her own right, too.” G-B
9. LAX of Homicide, Hernandez, Salinas & Hector Guerrero (4/1/17)
“Hector is no Konnan, but he has shown he isn't as limited as Konnan. Plus, well, let's face it, Salinas' tits more then make up for Konnan's absence.” ~dxb
10. William Regal (3/1/13)
“His ‘rational heel’ character just keeps getting better.” ~wld
11. Beth Phoenix (7/0/12)
“Made Melina her bitch on Raw, then was the most important part of what was probably the best Diva's match in the past 3 years. What a spot with the double back breaker hold.” ~jetskid48
“Sweet beatdown on Melina and awesome double back breaker on Melina and Mickie James. And I'm starting to think she's looking cute too. God help me.” ~snelson66
12. Christian Cage & Rhino (2/1/9.5)
“He is the reigning and is gunning for this year's MVP of TNA.” ~Diamond Dallas Tommy on Christian Cage
Others receiving votes: The Motor City Machine Guns, Jeff Hardy, Triple H, John Cena (1 fpv), Women Wrestlers (1 fpv), Kurt Angle, Melina, Jay Lethal, Roderick Strong & Jack Evans, CM Punk, Team 3D, The Undertaker, Edge, Roxxi Laveaux, Mickie James, and Kevin Steen & El Generico.
Notes:
- Back up to 19 voters this week, thanks to everyone for participating!
- Gail Kim appeared on all but 3 ballots this week, and won by nearly 20 points.
- In total, 27 votes were cast for unique entities, a very large nomination pool overall.
- Is this the 12-Pack debut for PWG as a promotion (although none of their nominees broke into the Top 12).
- We had 5 entities with less than one whole point, a 12-Pack first.
Watch out for some more great data from Sergei & Demko.
Discuss away!
P.S. - If anyone is up to it, I'm still looking for someone to hook me up with a 12-Pack banner...
