- Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer is reporting that WWE Heat will be eliminated in the next few weeks.

- The ECW on SciFi taping will be moved to Monday nights and will air on Tuesday.

- The idea behind the move is to have Monday Night RAW stars as guests which in turn would boost ratings.

- At this point, Firday Night Smackdown tapings will be two hour shows.

No more Hacksaw Jim Duggan v. Paul Burchill, Val Venis doesn't have a home, and the place where we saw many a William Regal/Man Who Shall Be Named classics is gone.

Goodbye Heat, you were too good for this world.

I wonder if they'll cancel velocity too? Pretty sure we still get that over here.
Heat has only been one or two matches long for a while now. I cant see this effecting the roster that much.

Really? I thought we still got it. I know we still get afterburn and bottom line too. I watched them last week. Heat will be replaced over here with "WWE Classics" - yeah!!

They should have kept velocity and heat and used it as more stuff to fill up WWE 24/7. That channel could be awesome if they wanted it to be.

I thought the corporate ministry formed on the SD pilot in April of '99. I remember Shane and HHH in the ring hyping a tag match against Austin and Rock for the main event, but Hunter needed a partner, so Shane made his case and said, "Do I have any... takers?" Cue the music.

But thinking back on it, they may have made it official on Heat the following Sunday - I vaguely remember seeing a YouTube with that. I only remember this shit because the Corporate Ministry is probably my favorite BAD stable of all time, for the awesome music and the idea of the Mean Street Posse being in the same group of alleged talent as the Undertaker.

As far as Heat goes, when Cole and Tazz did them from WWF NY in 2000, I found them pretty entertaining, and I believe the semi-famous Team ECK chicken suit skit that I have ZERO recollection of happened on Heat during that time period. And didn't the HHH/Taka rematch where Hunter squashed him for good happen on Heat?

Pretty sure either Taka or Gillberg (or both) won the Cruiserweight belt on the show as well.
