Which is why I've just stopped caring. Its all subjective and in this board's subjective opinion 2 of my favorite comics of all time (and 2 guys widely regarded as 2 of the greatest of all time) fell to a dude who makes silly and random observations while acting (or being) stoned.

Its not worth trying to convince you that you don't like that more than Carlin or Cosby. It wouldn't make sense because one presumes you actually know what you like. So I'm just waiting for Hedberg to roll over Murphy and Pryor and have it be done. I'm just kind of shocked we're not looking at a Norton vs Hedberg final.

Isn't this kinda the point of a showdown? If all anyone really wanted was the top two seeds to face each other in the finals, why even bother? Just put the top to vote getters in a one round final and we can be done with these showdowns in one week each.

Man, how come everytime one of us wants to whine about a showdown we don't like we all have to be reminded that its a showdown and subjectivity rules.

We just like to call each other names, argue, and whine. Its why we started these things.

Don't take it personally. I think Hedberg's advancement is funnier than his act. Others think Carlin sucks. None of it matters and none of us think it does. But without these comments these threads would be empty. March Madness doesn't include the top 4 teams but it does include lots of fans arguing about the quality of the teams, the legitimacy of the wins, the break of the tournament, and the officiating and luck.
