Wait a second, you guys are downloading FireFox 2? I already had 2. I just downloaded 3.

Well, 3 has a different feel to it than 2, but everything seems in place. Snazzy new design and graphics. They couldn't convert my gmail add but I never use that damn thing anyway because it sucks. Got all my links. My bookmark toolbar is intact and memory is there.

2 was nice.

EDIT: Visually it feels a bit like Safari, to you Mac users. But it still works the same as Firefox. I really don't notice much different besides a clearer tab to scroll back pages and a new "Most Visited" tab in my toolbar.

Well Pun was half right. They advertised 3, but were giving people version 2.0.0.14. SO you COULD download version 2. Except you were supposed to get 3. They're fucking up all over today.

the thing I notice most about FF3 besides the visual look being closer to Safari is the fact that pages load noticeably faster. And they're saying it takes up less memory to run then before, so I say FF3 is good enough just for those two things.

Yeah, I generally don't notice that too much but OO continues to load like a normal page for me.

I've been using FF3 since Beta 2 or so and the biggest thing I've seen for improvements is that the stupid memory leak is gone. If you ever run more then about 3-6 tabs at one time and leave it open all day FF2 would eventual kill your system as it pissed away all the memory never to see it return.

FF3 doesn't... It's not as revolutionary as they say but sofware never is...

FF3 makes OO actually browseable...holy crap. And it looks swell. Lets see how it handles massive amounts of tabs.
