We originally had the showdown scheduled to run Starting July 1st.

With the PWA Draft effectively killing the rest of the board ;D Should we still run the draft as scheduled?

Poll will run for 6 days.

If the group decides to run it as scheduled, we'll start on 7/7/08

Only 20 are in the Draft, and even they can stop yelling pickpickpickpickpick for a moment and vote

OOWF got hurt because the time lots of people spend on RPs was spent on the draft.
Screen Capture game got hurt because its just a time waster and the Draft was accomplishing that.
12 Pack got hurt because Serg, GB, and Demko were all hardcore into the draft so the time they spend on the extras was used elsewhere. Plus I think last week might have just been a bad wrestling week.

You'll be fine. The Showdown will provide a distraction on Tuesday, everyone will vote and run through all the polls, and any debates that pop up will keep interest. But most showdowns tend to be hot for 1 or 2 days and then die down for the rest of the week except in the close or controversial topics. And the OOWF dorks will all be out in force about how their imaginary friends should win, so you don't need to worry.

The people who voted voted to have the showdown start after the draft. And the draft should be done in a couple of weeks if it keeps up this pace...
