I wasn't a huge ECW guy back in the day, but the Eliminators seem really badass, and I love Perry Saturn.

I honestly question why Kronus didn't go to WCW with Saturn. They had to want him, WCW was big into Tags at the time, signing everyone they could, and had to see his talent.

Not that the Eliminators would have been properly utilized in the company *COUGHpublicenemyCOUGH*

Save for the fact that he brought him in the biz and trained him.

He always looked pretty fit until Saturn left. Apparently Perry was the dom in that team...

I felt ripped off. For weeks, Hogan was hyping us about Liz's itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini. And all I get are red briefs. Blah.

She did have a nice set of legs and a sweet little tush, though. So that made up for Hogan being a total dicktease.

Plus, I remember DiBiase and partner staring at Liz like her showing her swimming suit bottoms was like the hottest thing they ever saw...

Hogan & Savage didn't beat DiBiase and partner, their lack of having sex with a female apparently beat them that day. Or stupidity.. whichever.

The partner was ANDRE THE GIANT and the Mega Powers did indeed beat the Mega Bucks. Jesse Ventura was guest ref, clearly siding with the Mega Bucks, and did a very slow and reluctant three count, even pausing on the three, when Savage slammed Ventura's hand down for the 3-count.

I watched this on scrambled cable. The sharpness and fine tuning knobs on my little clicker box made it so WWF PPVs were free. The colors were wrong 80% of the time, and it was a little wavy, but the audio was clear and the way WWF films, it's easy to tell what was going on.

In fact, my Summerslam memories in my head are all wavy lines and wrong colors. Kids are so fucking spoiled today with their satellite black boxes, youtube, and torrents.

God I loved those days of analog cable when you could manually unscramble PPVs by screwing with the knobs, buttons, and/or remote. Yeah, you could totally get it so that you could make out everything, even if it wasn't a pretty picture. And for whatever reason PPV never seemed to bother with the audio so even in the worst case you could listen and find out what was happening.

Almost as cool as manually unscrambling the porn enough to actually see something. And you could always hear the moaning.

I remember watching Wrestlemania VI on a scrambled TV. Those were the days. I remember the TV started to wave right around end game of Hogan/Warrior. I heard the Warrior's music and really could not believe it. Hulk Hogan had lost at Wrestlemania.
