I started watching episodes of this on Hulu.com and I have absolutely no idea why this show was taken off the air.

(Then again, I was also a big support of 'The Adventures of Brisco County Jr' too.)

As with most projects involving Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi was the Executive Producer. So to answer your question... yes, more of the same makers as Xena and Hercules.

I think I watched a little of it but I was in college I'm sure it was on at some time that wasn't convenient like Saturday at noon or something.

And yeah, if I remember correctly it was part of that same big family of broadcasting with Hercules, Xena, Bandit, TekWar, and Cleopatra SomeBigNumber that used to air in syndication as a big block of action. But I think it was the tail end after Xena and Hercules when the whole things started to die.
