This is hard. I don't think MCMG is a flash in the pan team, personally. Their tag team skills are top notch. But man, can the Freebirds tell a story.

Immediately following the Rich Invader match. Wildfire narrates footage of the his match with JYD against the Freebirds at the Omni. This is about a week after the 'birds piledrove Ted Dibiase on the WTBS studio floor. In a repeat of a big angle from Mid South a year earlier Hayes "accidently" pours hair cram in the Junkyard Dogs eyes partially blinding him. This segues into a bedside interview with Dibiase from his hospital room. Some of this is already up on YouTube but this is the entire segment at a little better quality.

There's a near Raw-ian five minutes of introduction and pre-match goings on, but the match is worth it. To explain, just in case, Buddy Roberts is wearing boxing headgear to hide his shame after losing his hair to Iceman King Parsons. Luckily Parsons was not blinded by the hair removal cream like the last black guy to cross the Freebirds path while they had chemicals in their possession.




To explain further, that thing those six guys are doing, that's called "selling". Wrestlers not in the X-Division do that sometimes. Oh yeah, I went there.!
