No, I haven't read Final Crisis. I just hate the idea of Barry Allen coming back. If one character should ever just stay dead, it's him.

1) Because he sacrificed his life to save the universe and that should mean something.

2) Wally West had successfully taken up the mantle. What the hell do you do with Wally now?

well i'm not gonna judge it till i see what they do. i never thought they could bring bucky back but that was knocked out of the park.

geoff johns is handling the barry allen: rebirth story, so i have faith. when he brought hal jordan back, he managed to do it while keeping kyle rayner relevant and making guy gardner cool again.

so what do you do with wally when barry allen comes back?

answer: start a second flash book.

They always have the option of just having Wally retire to spend more time with his kids though. He can be a supporting character then and occasional guest star as well. Or keep him as A Flash, like Jay Garrick is, but have him Justice Leauge and Titans, while Barry gets the main book back.
