Valiant hits a big scoop slam, climbs to the middle turnbuckle, nails a fistdrop, and gets the three count! Bockwinkel crawls in and catches the celebrating Valiant with a big boot to the head. Jessica Hatch is in the arena, and welcomes us to Revolution One: “Shattered”! The crowd goes crazy as she runs down the card. During her welcome, you can see Prince Nana’s Embassy make their way to the ring, followed by Killer Kowalski, as the participants are in the ring for our first match!

Special Challenge Match
vs. w/
Killer Kowalski vs. Bam Bam Bigelow w/Prince Nana

The action starts off hot and heavy, as Kowalski has revenge on his mind for all of the members of the OSR roster that have been attacked by Bam Bam Bigelow. Bigelow, equally motivated by his desire to make OSR the opportunity he needs to get his career back, immediately goes after Kowalski at the bell. The opening moments of the match are a slugfest in the ring, both men unloading with right hands on each other. Kowalski misses s charge into the corner, and eats a step-up enziguiri from the most agile big man in wrestling, sending Killer to the outside. Bam Bam follows him out, and eventually Nana gets involved as well. As Bam Bam contunially distracts the referee, Nana chokes Kowalski with his traditional West African garb, putting Bam Bam at a decided advantage over his opponent. With Kowalski back in the ring, Bam Bam maintains the offensive, but can’t put Kowalski down for three. Nana starts to become less sneaky about his interference, frustrating Kowalski to no end. Kowalski finally locks in a trapezius claw, but Nana slides into the ring again. As the referee holds Nana back, Ricky Marvin and Frankie Kazarian are out! Kazarian immediately holds Nana down, and Marvin blasts Bam Bam in the head with a chair! Repeated chairshots for Bam Bam come from Marvin, looking to finally get a measure of revenge against the man who sneak attacked him in a Memphis hotel parking lot. As Marvin leaves the ring, Kazarian continues to hold Nana down as Kowalski gets back to work on Bam Bam, hitting the diving knee drop to finish off Bam Bam. Except Bam Bam is up at 2! The crowd, Kowalski, Kazarian, and even Nana can’t believe it. Nana takes advantage of the opening to hit the ring, but gets nailed by Kowalski and pulled back our by Kazarian. This gives Bam Bam an opening to nal Kowalski with an avalanche in the corner. With Killer down, Bigelow goes up top for the Bigelowsault, which misses! With Nana still out of the picture, Killer Kowalski gets a delayed vertical suplex on Bigelow, and then he locks in the Killer Clutch! Nana tries to break free from Kazarian, but cannot, and Bigelow is eventually forced to tap out.

The Embassy retreats as Kazarian joins Kowalski in the ring to celebrate. As both men get ready to leave, Jerry “The King” Lawler stands up from the commentary table.

Jerry Lawler: Frankie, how many rookie mistakes do you have to make, huh? How have the biggest match of your life later tonight, and you’re out here helping this has-been against the Embassy? You risk injury, you risk your big chance, for your trainer? You’re an idiot Frankie, and you don’t even deserve to wrestle me tonight. In fact, I’m going to make the executive decision on my own, and cancel the Old School Memphis Style Steel Cage Match for later tonight. You’re obviously not in the mind frame to wrestle tonight, and in a cage as enormous as this [King motions to the giant cage above the ring.], you can easily be injured, or worse, end your career. I cannot, in good conscience, allow you to compete in a match this dangerous if your mind isn’t 100%, and it obviously isn’t.

Frankie Kazarian: You think I’m not ready King? You think I’ll get hurt? Killer & I have been working hard to prepare for this cage match, and I promise you, no I guarantee you that I’m ready. Not only am I ready for later tonight King, I’m ready to go right now!

Jerry Lawler: Woah, woah, wait just a minute. I don’t know how much you know about wrestling kid, but the card is set, and we’re on later tonight. We can’t upset the balance of the event by doing this match now. No. I’ll sit back down and you can go to the back and prepare for later. No way, not now.

G-B makes his first appearance of the night, and makes a declaration about the order of the card:

G-B: Jerry Lawler, you come out here and make all these broad statement about Frankie Kazarian, and obviously your motivation was to back out of the steel cage match later tonight. And now you’re worried about the order of the card? You’re worried about the wrestlers in the back? I call bullshit on you Lawler…this is PPV, I can say that, right? Well I will! I call bullshit on you Lawler, and I think we can change the order just a little bit. So Lawler, take off your crown and your robe, because I’m gonna ask the techs in the back to lower the cage, I’m gonna ask Killer Kowalski to leave the ring area, and we’ll have the Old School Memphis Cage Match between Jerry Lawler and Frankie Kazarian right now!

Kowalski leaves as the cage lowers, and Jerry Lawler pleads with G-B to not ring the bell to start the match. Kazarian charges at Lawler, who sees this out of the corner of his eye and nails Lawler with a low blow. The cage is down and the match is under way!

Old School Memphis Style Steel Cage Match
vs.
Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Frankie "The Future" Kazarian

Lawler, thanks to his low blow, goes on a tear on Kazarian early in the match. The steel cage, same as what was used in Memphis back in Lawler’s heyday, surrounds the ring and the ringside area, and there are two camera men inside of the cage.

Lawler immediately gets a chair from under the ring, and goes to work on Kazarian. Kazarian barely gets any fight in during the early goings of the match, it’s all Lawler. “The King” methodically took apart Kazarian, focusing mainly on his left leg, to prevent “The Future” from unleashing his high flying offense. The first phase of the match ended with Lawler hitting the piledriver on Kazarian, and seeing Kazarian kickout at the last second, much to the crowd’s delight.

The second phase of the match saw Lawler get a hold of a live microphone, and begin to taunt Kazarian. Lawler repeatedly called him a rookie, hitting him with one maneuver, then giving him a verbal beating before hitting another move. Due to Kazarian’s weakened state, he couldn’t fight back, even though Lawler spent much time talking. The second phase of the match ended King locking in a figure four, telling Kazarian to give up…

Jerry Lawler: C’mon kid! C’mon. You know you’ve had enough, just swallow your pride and give up. You’ve got plenty of time to bounce back, rookie. [Lawler hands the mic to Kazarian, so he can give up.]

Frankie Kazarian: I...am...not...a...rookie!

With that, Kazarian punches Lawler’s legs, finally breaking out of the Figure Four. And the third phase of the match begins as Kazarian is slow to get up. Lawler picks Frankie up by the hair, but Frankie pushes Lawler away, then goes to work with kicks from his good leg. Kazarian breaks loose on Lawler, hitting him with everything imaginable, but not going for a pinfall during the process. Kazarian eventually gets Lawler in position for the Flux Capacitor, but Lawler eventually breaks free, pushing Kazarian to the mat. Lawler follows it up with a trademark second rope fist drop, but Kazarian kicks out at 2! Lawler then goes all the way up top, nailing the fist drop from the top rope. And Kazarian again kicks out at 2! King climbs up once more, but Frankie follows him this time, and finally hits the Flux Capacitor on The King! Kazarian goes for the cover, but this time it’s King who kicks out at 2! Frankie then hits a springboard revolving leg drop on Lawler, also only for two. Kazarian is back to the ropes, this time facing the crowd. Frankie hits a springboard, diving onto the cage on the outside. Kazarian plants himself on the support beam about two thirds of the way up the cage, looks back, and dives off with the biggest moonsault most have ever seen. Kazarian travels so far that the move seems to happen in slow motion. At the end, Kazarian does indeed connect this Super Moonsault on Jerry Lawler. Kazarian goes for the cover and scores the three count to defeat Jerry “The King” Lawler in an Old School Memphis Steel Cage Match!

Following the match, we see highlights from the activities that took place in the arena parking lot, including activities for kids, autograph signing sessions and much more. Background music as well as live performance images from the band Veritas were shown throughout the video as well, as they performed for the live crowd outside the arena as they waited for the doors to open.

Backstage, Jessica Hatch interviews both the API and The No Remorse Corps for tonight’s huge 6 on 6 tag team match. As the No Remorse Corps make their way to the ring, former Ring of Honor owner Cary Silkin and famed ROH booker Gabe Sapolsky are seen sitting in the front row.

Grudge Match - 6 vs. 6

The API - The Samoan Swat Team (Fatu & Samu), The Barbarian, Sonny Siaki, Afa Anoa'i, Jr. & Prof. Toru Tanaka

The No Remorse Corps - Roderick Strong, Davey Richards, Rocky Romero & Erick Stevens and Doug Furnas & Phil Lafon

The ring introductions are completed as all 12 competitors stand, each as a group, across the ring from each other. As names are given, the wrestlers barely flinch, staying 100% focused on their opposition. Once all 12 are introduced, the bell rings, and what ensues is pure insanity. For the first few minutes, all 12 guys unloaded on each other, with 48 arms & legs flailing about, as they fought in the ring. No one could gain an advantage until Rocky Romero was able to lip out of Samu’s grasp and get a shot in on Fatu, paired off with Davey Richards. This created a domino effect where each member of the NRC were able to gain an advantage.

After the initial flurry, the action spilled outside of the ring, and eventually throughout the arena. Luckily, cameramen were stationed and spotlights were ready to follow the action. [Editor’s note: it’s almost like they knew it would happen!] The first major pairing focused on was Roderick Strong and Sonny Siaki, the two respective faction leaders. Strong & Siaki actually battled up into the stands, as fans in the lower section got to experience Strong nailing Siaki with a back breaker onto the permanent seats. Despite being outside of the ring long enough to warrant a countout or a disqualification, the match continued as fans and OSR officials alike wanted to see a winner. The final spot on the outside took place near a floor entrance in the arena. Erick Stevens was placed on a table by Samu, as Fatu climbed up to the seats about 12 feet above. Fatu then nailed a picture perfect Superfly Dive over 10 feet, down onto Stevens, through the table! The fans went crazy as both guys were down on the floor.

Back in the ring, the remaining 10 wrestlers continued the brawl. Furnas & Lafon took control of most of the action in the ring, mostly double teaming The Barbarian, until Toru Tanaka made a save to even the score. Samu and Afa Jr. took on Richards & Romero on the outside, keeping the NRC members at bay. Strong & Siaki continued their fight, this time trading chops against the barrier on the outside.

Once Fatu & Stevens finally made it back to the ring, things kicked into high gear as we neared the finish. There was a flurry of finishers that kept being broken up by members of the opposite team. It was an amazing sequence: Siaki nails Stevens with the Siakalopyse Now, with the pin prevented when Strong takes Siaki out with a flying Yakuza kick; seeing the opening, The Samoan Swat Team hits Strong with a barrage of kicks, but the pin is broken up by Furnas & Lafon, whohit stereo German Suplexes on Samu & Fatu; The SST rolls outside to avoid a pinfall, and the Barbarian takes out both Furnas & Lafon with a second rope shoulder tackle; Romero then rolls Barbarian through into a cross arm breaker, and Richards hits a frog splash on the downed Barbarian; the impact causes the arm breaker to be broken, and Afa, Jr. picks up Romero for the Samoan Storm. Afa sets him up the The People’s Headbutt, but Roderick Strong comes in, grabs Afa, Jr and hits him with the Half-Nelson Backbreaker; with Afa, Jr. down, Richards climbs up to the top, flying off with a beautiful Shooting Star Press for the pinfall victory.

Siaki pulls the API out of the ring to regroup, preparing to fight another day. Strong, Richards, Romero, Stevens Furnas & Lafon all celebrate in the ring, and one of the hardest hitting brawls ever witnessed has come to a close.

With the crowd’s excitement high, we see a video package on the screens in the arena. The hype video for the Submit, Surrender or Survive match gets everyone ready for the biggest match in either man’s careers.

The hype video follows the Danielson-Ortiz pairing from infancy through tonight’s match, starting with Bryan Danielson attempting to force G-B to announce his opponent early, including his aggressive behavior towards UltimateJobber. The video takes us through the Ortiz draft announcement and subsequent confrontations with Danielson, to Ortiz’s first professional match, where he lost to Duane Gill. We follow to Ortiz’s first attack on Danielson, and his victory over Rhett Titus. The video concludes with Ortiz’s attack on Danielson during the Las Vegas weigh-in, ending with the visual of Ortiz posing on the scale as Danielson is out on the ground.

Prior to the participants entrances, the Tapout crew proves they can score front row tickets to all the big wrestling events as well, as Mask, Punkass and Skyskrape have some of the best seats in the house.

"The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Tito Ortiz vs. "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson

Danielson enters first. Although extremely focused and intense, Danielson does climb the turnbuckles for fans to chant “The Final Countdown” at him along to his music, as well as proclaiming him the “Best Wrestler in the World.” Once Danielson is in the ring, Tito Ortiz makes his way out to Limp Bizkit’s “My Way,” a tribute to Ortiz’s new attitude towards dealings in both the world’s of wrestling and MMA. With both competitors in the ring, G-B completed the big fight style introductions.

As expected, Danielson controls the feeling out portion of the match, but also gains an early psychological victory, as when Ortiz rolls through the first Cattle Mutilation attempt, Danielson uses that momentum to pin Ortiz’s shoulders to the mat for an early three count. Under the rules, Ortiz then has to a 10 count to make it to his feet, which he easily does.

As both men are on their feet, Danielson attempts to go toe to toe with the former UFC World Champion, a move that proves to be damaging to the American Dragon. This allows Ortiz to gain his first advantage in the match, knocking Danielson to the mat and following up with a flurry of grounded offense that nearly has the American Dragon tapping out and losing the match. However, one small opening is what Danielson needs, as he is able to get Tito in position for Danielson’s MMA elbows, which have been so successful in wrestling. Tito, however, proves that he has Danielson well scouted, as he reverses Danielson’s grip and suddenly has Danielson in a compromising position, as Tito rains down on Danielson’s head and neck with downward elbow strikes himself. Before the referee calls the match, Danielson is able to make it to the ropes, and rolls to the outside.

Tito follows Dragon to the floor, and doesn’t let up. Ortiz shows more of his wrestling training, sending Dragon shoulder first into the ringside barrier several times. This aggravates Dragon’s already inured shoulder Ortiz gets cocky on the outside, taunting the ringside fans. He turns his back on Danielson, who ten dumps him over the barrier. Ortiz is able to poke Dragon in the eye, and backs up to charge. Dragon sidesteps the charge, getting a drop toe hold in on Ortiz, sending him into a set of chairs. Dragon heads back to the ring as Tito struggles to make it to his feet. Dragon then springboards to the top rope, and hits a crowd dive onto Ortiz on the floor! Dragon comes up holding that injured shoulder. The crowd is going insane, 100% behind Dragon at this point.

Dragon drags Ortiz into the ring, and is working through the pain in his shoulder. Dragon hits a series of roaring elbows at Ortiz, with the third sending him crashing to the mat. Dragon makes the cover, and gets a three count on Ortiz. With Danielson backed into a neutral corner, the referee applies the ten count as Ortiz struggles to get up. At seven, Ortiz is on one knee, ready to stand. Right before he does, Dragon charges out of his corner and connects with a Shining Wizard! Dragon covers and gets another pinfall on Ortiz. The count is applied once more, and once again, Ortiz is nearly up at seven. Dragon refuses to wait, and this time charges at Ortiz with a roaring forearm, knocking Ortiz down to the mat again. Dragon goes for the cover, but picks up Ortiz at two! Dragon snaps Ortiz over with a rolling DDT, and then ascends the turnbuckles. Dragon comes off with a diving headbutt that connects on Tito! Dragon, dazed himself, makes the cover, but once again picks up Ortiz at 2. Dragon climbs up top once again, and dives off to connect with a second diving headbutt! Dragon covers for three once again. Nearly out himself, Dragon rolls off of Tito, but the ref has to take time to get Danielson to the neutral corner. Once he’s there, the ref starts the ten count on Tito. Tito barely makes it up at 9, and is still out on his feet. Dragon rises from the corner, charging at Tito, connecting with another knockout forearm. Instead of going for the pin, Danielson puts Tito in position and unloads on him with the Dragon Elbows. Right as the referee was going to call the match, Ortiz I sable to roll both men over, and scores a quick pin on Danielson.

Ortiz backs into the neutral corner, but Danielson stands up at the count of 2. Danielson charges the former UFC Light Heavyweight champion, who jumps up in a leapfrog type move. But Tito comes down on top of Danielson, and locks in a guillotine choke! The crowd is stunned, and Danielson is trapped in the middle of the ring. Ortiz gets Danielson into a seated position, and has the move cinched in fairly tight. Dragon tries to fight out, and tries to roll them over, and out of the move. Tito uses the momentum to take them both over, and ends up on his feet, with the choke on even tighter. In the center of the ring, Danielson begins to fade. The referee performs an arm check, with Danielson’s arm dropping the first two times. The arm comes down for a third, but Danielson brings it back up, refusing to lose! Ortiz throws in his hip to take Dragon over, and comes right back up in the guillotine. The ref checks once more, and once again, the arm falls the first two times, with Danielson refusing to lose on the third! The crowd goes insane, and Danielson pushes Tito back to the corner. Tito gets his foot up on the turnbuckle, turning both men around, and rolling to the center of the ring. The ref checks Danielson for a third time, letting the arm drop twice. Danielson, again, won’t let the arm fall, and the crowd’s support continues to build. Danielson pushes Tito into the corner, crashing him into the turnbuckles. But when they back out, the choke is still applied. Danielson goes to another corner, but is still unable to break it. He then charges a third corner repeatedly, sending Ortiz back first into the padded steel 4 times. Danielson backs them out, and hits a picture perfect Northern Lights Suplex on Tito for 3! With Tito backed into a corner, Danielson lies on the mat as the referee counts. Danielson milks the count, and is up at 9.

Tito charges Danielson once more, but Danielson uses a double leg takedown to get him on the mat. Danielson then throws repeated right hands to the face of Tito, looking for the MMA style match stoppage. Tito absorbs the punishment, so Danielson grabs both of Tito’s wrists, extends his arms and begins to stomp Tito’s neck, between his head & shoulders. Danielson stomps repeatedly, looking for the ref to call the match, which doesn’t happen. Ortiz is finally able to break the hold by getting to the ropes. With Tito reeling, Dragon drags him back to the center of the ring, and locks in the Crossface Chicken Wing. Ortiz fights the move standing, trying to get to a corner or rope, but Dragon prevents it. Danielson finally takes Ortiz down, and is able to scissor the body. Ortiz fights, but cannot get to the ropes. He tries to roll them over, but is unsuccessful three as well. After exhausting all options, Ortiz is seemingly out of energy, and has no choice but to prevent long term injury and tap-out.

The crowd erupts as “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson has just defeated one of the biggest names in all of combat sports, “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz, in the process making him tap out on wrestling’s larges stage. The crowd then actually applauds Tito’s efforts as the announcements are made, and Tito humbly breaks kayfabe in defeat, putting on a “The Dragon Slayed The Bad Boy” t-shirt and raising Danielson’s hand in victory. Ortiz and Danielson hug in the ring, but Tito pulls away, looks at Dragon and says “this isn’t over” before leaving the ring, dejected and upset. Dragon remains in the ring, celebrating in each corner as fans sing along with his “Final Countdown” theme song and some even chant “Best in the World.”

The video screens light-up, and a special video package highlighting OSR in general airs, focusing on the draft picks and early press events, all the way through the Road to Shattered Tour and ending with footage from the Preview show earlier in the week. As the video ends, we are in the back with Jessica Hatch, joined by Jason Blade & Kenny King of The YRR.

Jessica Hatch: What an amazing night we’ve had so far, and we still have half of the show left to see! I’m backstage with Jason Blade & Kenny King of The YRR, and gentlemen, tonight is a huge stage for you.

Jason Blade: That’s right Jessica, the YRR is on the grandest stage of them all, and we’re out to prove to everyone that The YRR is the top team in all of OSR.

Kenny King: You know, people like to ask if we’re...”Tough Enough.” Well I say why the hell do I want to just be tough enough, when I can have a much better time being Young...Rich...and Ready!

The YRR leaves to the left side, and Bad Company jumps in to the right.

Jessica Hatch: Now Bad Company, The YRR has made some very cocky comments, going as far as to say they’d rather be Young, Rich and Ready instead of anything else.

Paul Diamond: YRR, we’re tired of hearing you spew your propaganda throughout OSR. Tonight, you young punks need to learn a lesson, and Bad Company? We’re just the team for the job!

Following this interviews, a small commercial for Revolution Two: “Electric Boogaloo”, a 2 night event at the O₂ Arena in London England airs.

In the arena, The YRR has started making their way to the ring, yelling at the fans on their way down. Out comes Bad Company, and both teams are in the ring, ready for our next match.

vs.
Bad Company (Paul Diamond & Pat Tanaka) vs. Young, Rich & Ready (Kenny King & Jason Blade)

After the motional high of the last three matches, these two teams start off slow, working each other over with armbars and quick tags, focused on taking apart one limb of the opponent. The action is back and forth for the first portion of the match, as neither team is able to gain an advantage. At the five minute mark, Bad Company finally makes a mistake as Paul Diamond enters the ring to break up a submission move. As the referee is pushing Diamond back, the YRR gets the double team going, really working over Pat Tanaka’s arm. This infuriates Diamond even more, who proves to have a short temper as he keeps entering the ring. At one point, he is so focused on yelling at the referee that the YRR is able to drape Tanaka’s arm over the bottom rope and whack it with a chair. This causes Diamond to blow past the referee and go after the YRR. The referee gets Diamond back to the corner, and the YRR sets Diamond in the middle of the ring. They go for the double spring board seated dropkicks, but Diamond pulls Jason Blade down from the top rope. Diamond then enters the ring, locking up Kenny King for a German Suplex. King blocks it twice, causing Pat Tanaka to superkick King, who is then taken over by Diamond. As Tanaka goes for the pin, Diamond dives through the ropes onto Blade, preventing him from breaking up the fall. Three seconds later, and Bad Company has won the match!

Ladder Match for the Vacant OSR Television Championship

"The King of Old School" Steve Corino vs. "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers vs. Kota Ibushi vs.
“Mr. Wrestling Kevin Steen vs. “The Crowned Jewel” Daniel Puder vs. Ricky Marvin

All six men start brawling early on in the match, trying to gain an advantage. Buddy Rogers takes the early advantage, controlling Puder in the center of the ring as the other wrestlers fight on the outside. The first highspot of the match is provided by Kota Ibushi, who hits a shooting star press off of the top turnbuckle to the floor on Steve Corino. Ricky Marvin immediately follows suit with a springboard cross body from the middle turnbuckle, over the top rope and down onto Kevin Steen, who catches Marvin and hits a spinebuster on the floor! Corino and Ibushi enter the ring, and Ibushi puts Corino down in the corner, hitting a springboard dropkick, rolling backwards after impact, springing up to his feet, running the ropes and taking himself & Buddy Rogers over the top rope with a leg lariat.

With Rogers & Ibushi out on the floor (along with Marvin, who was already down), and Corino down in the far corner, Puder and Steen climb either side of the remaining ladder, up towards the World Television Championship. Steen pounds on Puder’s head continually, but Puder is able to take the pain and continue to reach for the TV title. With Steen’s attention towards Puder, Prince Nana is able to enter the ring and grab a hold of Steen’s boots! Steen is able to get in one last shot on Puder, right between the eyes, causing Puder to fall backwards on the ladder. His foot catches, and Puder is hanging upside down against the ladder! Steen starts kicking at Nana, and he eventually falls off of the ladder! Bam Bam Bigelow is out now, and is helping Puder get upright, so he can climb up the ladder. Puder is slow to climb, so Bam Bam climbs behind him, helping Puder up along the way. During this, Steve Corino is trying to make his way up the ladder, and is even with Puder. Before Puder can reach the top, Ricky Marvin flies off the top rope, dropkicking Bam Bam off the ladder. He immediately goes after Bam Bam, taking him outside the ring. Puder and Corino continue to race up the ladder, with Corino making it up first. Before “The King of Old School” can get the title down, Puder is able to get hold of his arm, and place him in a modified arm breaker over the top of the ladder! Corino screams in pain as Puder wedges the arm in, effectively trapping Corino in place. Puder then attempts to climb further up the ladder. Just as Puder starts to reach the top, Eugene enters the ring! The fans go insane for their fair minded favorite, and he climbs up the ladder behind Puder. Just as Puder touches the belt, Eugene pulls his arm back and connects with a heart punch! Puder falls from the ladder, and is lying on his back as Corino gets free from being trapped in the ladder. Eugene, seeing Corino start to climb, gives his friend the thumbs up, and nails a picture perfect Swanton Bomb on Puder! With everyone out of the picture, Corino finishes his climb to the top of the ladder, and removes the World Television Title from the holster, crowning himself as the first ever title holder in Old School Revolution history. As Corino holds the belt up high on the top of the ladder, G-B yells out over the microphone.

G-B: “Ladies and Gentlemen! Your winner...and NEW Old School Revolution World Television Champion...The King of Old School...Steve...Corino!”

As Corino and Eugene’s celebration winds down, we head to the back, where Jessica Hatch is with Tito Ortiz.

Jessica Hatch: I’m backstage with “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz, and Tito, that was one hell of a fight against Bryan Danielson. Even in defeat, you have to proud of what you accomplished tonight.

Tito Ortiz: Proud? Proud! What in the hell do I have to be proud of Jessica? Huh? What! I lost in the middle of the ring. I let Bryan Danielson, a guy that I know I can beat, I let him tap me out in front of the world. Well I promise you this, and I promise it to the entire locker room. I will get another shot at Bryan Danielson, down the road. But first, I have something to prove. G-B, I know you can see this. I want to wrestle the best. I want more matches. I don’t want one opponent, no. Not one, not two, not even five or six. I want ten. Ten opponents, just like they do in Japan. And one by one, I promise to mow them over, because win or lose, I will become a better wrestler, and I will defeat Bryan Danielson. I don’t need to attack anyone with a lead pipe, Jessica. I will win, clean, in the middle of the ring. Now get the fuck out of my face!

Jessica backs out of the interview area slowly as the camera focuses on an intense “Huntington Beach Bad Boy.”

G-B: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to crown the first ever Old School Revolution World Heavyweight Champion. Since we began the journey down this long road, OSR has assembled a strong roster of 38 fierce competitors, and tonight, one man will emerge victorious, becoming the champion that the other 37 will hunt. Wrestling fans, it is time that we put one man at the forefront of the revolution.

The two challengers make their way to the ring, Kenta Kobashi first, adorned in his traditional long robe and flocked by Japanese media. “The Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich is out second, in his classic short jacket, as the female fans scream in approval. The two men stand in the ring and await the introductions.

G-B: Ladies and gentlemen...the following contest is scheduled for two out of three falls with a sixty minute time limit, and is for the vacant Old School Revolution World Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first...this American wrestling icon is a former multi-time World Class Heavyweight Champion and a former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion...from Denton County, Texas...weighing in at 254 pounds...”The Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Vonnnnnnnnnn Erich! And his opponent. This Japanese wrestling legend is a former holder of the All Japan Triple Crown and a former Global Honored Crown Heavyweight Champion...from the Japanese prefecture of Kyoto...weighing in at 120 kilograms...many would call him the Zettai Ohja...Kobashiiiiiii Kentaaaaa!”

The first fall of the match is a technical contest in which both men fight to gain an advantage over the other. It takes almost 14 minutes for Kobashi to finally be the first to gain a sustained advantage. Kobashi wins with the brainbuster (kickout) followed by a Burning Sword (kickout) and finally a moonsault. The fans were going wild with each kickout, and the Japanese superstar was finally able to capture the fall with a third consecutive finisher.
Winner, Fall 1: Kenta Kobashi, Brainbuster/Burning Sword/Moonsault combination pinfall, 14:45

The second fall of the contest was controlled by Kobashi early, as he capitalized on having Von Erich down from the first fall. Von Erich survives the offensive onslaught, and is finally able to get in some offense himself. Kobashi is quick to counter everything Von Erich throws at him, until Kerry locks in the Von Erich Claw! Kobashi fights out of the Claw several times, making it to the ropes or breaking Von Erich’s grip. However, Von Erich is always quick to lock it back on. Von Erich finally wins by pinfall with the discus punch after Kobashi won’t quit in the Von Erich Claw.
Winner, Fall 2: Kerry Von Erich, Discus Punch pinfall, 28:19

After nearly 30 minutes of action, both men are spent, but show the deep desire to be crowned the first OSR World Heavyweight Champion. Both come out of their corner, circling each other, ready to lock-up. Just as they lock-up, the voice of Jerry “The King” Lawler is heard over the speakers!

Jerry Lawler: Woah, woah, easy fellas! I think we all just need to wait just one god damned minute out here. You see, I was sitting in the back with with the lovely Jade, and we couldn’t help but admire these two beautiful championship belts I have in my possession. And while the OSR title belts sure do look great, you just can’t beat the timeless classics Jade Chung is modeling right now. You know, I just can’t help but think that neither of these guys deserves to be the champ, because they’ve never beaten me!

At this point, the crowd is revolting against Lawler, when he suddenly has an unlikely supporter that walks right past him from the back.

Bryan Danielson: You know what, I can’t stand this pompous jerk, but he’s exactly right. What the hell have you two done to earn this title shot? Now don’t get me wrong, you’re both tremendous athletes, and legendary wrestlers. But I’ve held a world championship for over 15 months, and I’ve already taken a shower tonight! My match ended almost an hour ago! [As Danielson starts down the aisle, everyone is shocked, even Lawler] You see, me and most of the twelve former world champions sitting in the back think all of us haven’t gotten a fair shake at the World Heavyweight Championship, and if one of you two are going leave here tonight with that World Heavyweight Championship, you’ll have to go through all of to do it. As Danielson makes this proclamation, his supporters hit the stage in the form of “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers, Bam Bam Bigelow, Roderick Strong, Erick Stevens, Kevin Steen and newly crowned OSR World Television Champion Steve Corino. Each man is holding the world championship they held in the past on their shoulder. Kobashi and Von Erich are now watching in amazement while standing on the near side of the ring, right next to each other.] So do you think one of you will win this title tonight? [Kobashi and Von Erich both nod yes and G-B goes absolutely apeshit outside of the ring, yelling at Danielson to take everyone to the back.] Mister DashBee, I see you yelling at me, and I hate to tell you this, but it’s all your fault! There are twelve former world champions on your roster, not just those two guys in the ring. And any one of would make a damn fine first OSR World Heavyweight Champion. And outside of those two, we’re all getting screwed by this! So men, I say it’s time to take matters...into our own hands!

As if it were a signal, as soon as Danielson says that final phrase, all 8 wrestlers on the outside charge the ring, and attack Kobashi and Von Erich. The two chosen challengers are quickly overmatched, and the attack between the former world champions actually becomes an all out ten man brawl! Amidst all of the carnage, G-B is no longer raving mad, he’s just standing there, beside UltimateJobber. In complete and utter shock at what’s transpired. With ten former world champions fighting in and out of the ring, the United Center is seemingly peaking with excitement. Just when you think it won’t get any louder, it does…

[Cue familiar lights...cue familiar baseline...cue familiar Yabba Doo!]

John Cena has entered the United Center! Cena walks out on the stage, basks in the cheers and boos from the crowd, takes off his throwback jersey, and charges the ring! Cena is going back forth with Buddy Rogers and Kevin Steen as the rest of the wrestlers are all now on the outside. The crowd is going insane, and Steen and Rogers soon gain an advantage over Cena. Just as Cena is on the receiving end of a few moves, the crowd has another reason to hit record levels of arena noise.

[Glass Shatters!]

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin is in the arena! Austin doesn’t stop on the stage for anyone, just drops off his jacked in the aisle, and connects with a few punches on Von Erich, Strong, and Corino on his way to the ring. Upon getting in the ring, he pulls Buddy Rogers off of Cena and KICK-WHAM-STUNNER! Cena has Steen up for the FU--Steen rolls off. But Steen turns around to see Austin standing in front of him. KICK-WHAM-STUNNER! Security is out to break up the fighting, and all but two wrestlers are pushed to the back. G-B has lost all control at this point, and throws the referee shirt to UltimateJobber and motions for him to get in the ring!
Fall 3: No Contest, interference, 35:07

The Main Event: There Must Be A Winner
vs.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. John Cena

Austin and Cena immediately go to town on each other as UltimateJobber rings the bell. The match is underway in the ring as alternating punches are thrown, the crowd going absolutely nuts for all of the action. Cena finally gets in a few punches in a row, and Irish Whips Austin across the ring. Austin ducks a clothesline, bounces off of the opposite ropes and connects with a Lou Thesz Press! Austin then unloads a series of 8 right hands to Cena’s head before Cena pushes him off and rolls outside of the ring.

The two men brawl for a while outside of the ring, even going out into the crowd. The action is hard to keep up with for several minutes. Austin and Cena finally make it back to ringside, where they brawl some more. Cena gets the upper hand, hitting a Proto-bomb on the floor! Austin is nearly dead, so Cena rolls him into the ring and goes for the cover. Austin kicks out at two! Cena then grabs Austin’s leg, rolls him over and locks in an STFU! Cena has his version of the famous submission hold applied perfectly in the center of the ring, and Austin, bleeding, is in a ton of pain! Austin refuses to tap, and drops his head down. UltimateJobber is yelling at Austin, who isn’t responding. With Austin seemingly passed out, UltimateJobber looks to call for the bell when Stone Cold’s head pops back up! The crowd, UltimateJobber and John Cena are all shocked. With the crowd’s support, Austin is able to make it to the ropes and break the hold.

With the STFU broken, Cena repeatedly kicks Austin, with a final kick to the head sending Austin over the top rope. Cena follows behind, and charges the Texas Rattlesnake. Austin ducks and backdrops Cena onto the announce table, but it doesn’t break! Austin then climbs onto the ring apron, and hits an elbow off of the apron, onto Cena and through the table! UltimateJobber tries to clear the wreckage as both men are down. Austin is up first, and begins to stomp on Cena on top of the broken table pieces. Cena finally grabs a chair, tossing it at Austin to create an opportunity to get away from the stomps.

As Cena gets up to his feet, Austin charges and Cena, surprisingly, comes at Austin with the KICK-WHAM-STUNNER! Austin has been Stunnered and is out on the floor! Cena rolls into the ring as UltimateJobber starts the count on Austin. Cena immediately stops him, telling UltimateJobber that a countout won’t do. Cena jumps back out, and starts to pick Austin up. Austin reverses, hoists Cena onto his shoulders and drops him with the FU on the outside! Austin parades around the ring as the fans roar in approval. Austin then slides Cena back in, and heads up top. Austin comes off the top rope at Cena, who gets a boot up in Austin’s face.

Cena gets to his feet, and gets several right hands in on Austin. Cena then hits a belly to back suplex on Austin, bends over and puts five fingers in front of his face. Cena: “You can’t see me!” Cena follows up with the Five Knuckle Shuffle and covers for two. After the kickout, Austin slowly gets up, looking at Cena as if he were shocked that he’d use such a move. Cena immediately hoists Austin up for the FU, but Austin rolls off, spins Cena around for the KICK-WHAM--the Stunner is blocked as Austin is pushed away. Austin immediately turns around and charges back at Cena. Cena puts up his floor the a KICK-WHAM--Austin blocks the Stunner as well! Austin then lifts Cena up for the FU and Cena slips out, going behind Austin with the O’Connor roll that gets 2! Cena follows up with a bridging German Suplex (that half of the crowd was hocked to see), and UltimateJobber’s hand slaps the mat three times! But Austin kicked out before the hand slapped for three! Austin is up, Cena is up, and they charge at each other. Clothesline by Cena, and Austin gets right back up. A second clothesline, and Austin is up. A third clothesline, but Austin catches the arm and locks in the Million Dollar Dream. Cena walks the men to the corner, climbs to the top, launching himself back and has Austin pinned. 1...2...no! Austin breaks the hold and both men are up. Austin moves toward Cena...KICK-WHAM-STUNNER. Austin covers...1…2...no! Cena kicks out, Austin is immediately up, and calls for a beer. One is tossed in the ring, Austin cracks it up, takes a swig, tosses it aside, spits the beer in Cena’s face! KICK-WHAM-STUNNER! Austin covers...1...2...3! “Stone Cold” Steve Austin has won the first OSR Main Event!
