And Road Blasters was one of the greatest arcade games. It's a driving game and a shoot-em-up! You can't go wrong.

Mario Kart DD and WM 2000 are the only ones I've played, but Road Blasters is only one I've not heard of. Ico is one of those "criminally underrated and under-successfull, proof-that-videogames-can-be-considered-art" games that barely anyone has played but is critically heralded. There was a loose sequel to it called Shadow of the Collosus?

Civ II really was one of the best strategy games ever made. It's hard to accept Sid Meir wasn't involved in it, actually. I've probably wasted days of my life playing it and I'm seriously considering hunting up a download of it for nostalgia sake. The recent CIV IV was great and all, but playing II when I was like 15 was too much fun.

WM2000 is the only one I can remember playing and I don't know that I've even heard of the first 3. I might have played Roadblasters but all those car arcade games look the same to me and I never really enjoyed them.

Mario Kart DD is quite fun and deserves to be in the top 64 over any of those 5. WM2000 is my other vote.

I played the shit out of Civ II in my late teens. It was crazy how late I'd stay up playing that game. Played Civ III a little bit, but as stopped getting hooked on games as an adult. I remember spending too much time in high school playing Civ I, also.

It came with the original Gamecube if I recall correctly. And it's DAMN good game. It's one of the reasons I kept the Gamecube controllers - because it's still one of my favorite games.

It may have been included in some kind of bundle later on down the road, but it came out two years after the Gamecube did.

Not a lot of great games for it, honestly....but the few that are great were worth playing it. Of course, if you have a Wii, you don't need the Gamecube, you just need the games and the controllers.

I've never played Gamecube or a Gamecube game either. There is a small list in my head of games to pick up and play on my Wii. Especially with a newborn I need to start buying cheap used games instead of expensive new ones.

GameCube is the one Nintendo system I never owned as it came out after I stopped being a gamer (aka, went to college and got a life). I went from a period where I had a NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, Sega Master System, and Intellivision all hooked up to not picking up a single new system until I grabbed the PS2 just before the PS3 was coming out. I was actually in GameStop the other day (buying 2 OLD used Smackdown games I never played) and saw Gamecubes for $20. I considered buying one for the hell of it but couldn't find any games in the store. Glad to know it would have been a pointless purchase if Wii plays them.

So I've heard of Double Dash but honestly, I bought Mario Kart 64 over a decade ago and played it happily until I bought Mario Kart Wii this year. Never once felt a need for a new one in between and barely even knew there was a whole series of them.

Ico I've just never heard of. Upon further thought I did play Civilizations II briefly but couldn't get into it and I don't know what happened to it. I'm not sure I owned the game myself so I borrowed it from a friend or it being history based it might have been a game my dad bought for his school as an after school "bonus" for students.
