I had forgotten how many hours of my elementary school years were spent trying to beat Castlevania... and I don't think I ever did.

I admit to being a Zelda wonk, but I think Wind Waker was my least favorite Zelda game ever. Castlevania was cool though, like Mikey, I am not sure if I beat it. I remember getting to the end, but for some reason I couldn't beat Dracula.

I don't think I ever beat Castlevania, but I still had fun playing it for hours. If this had been Ocarina of Time, I might have had a little trouble voting for Castlevania. But, I've never played Wind Waker, and I think I'll be okay.

I love Zelda, but Wind Waker was a little too cartoony for my tastes.

As someone who loves both of these games, Anglefan, are you referring to the art style or the story?

Gameplay-wise I feel Windwaker was spot on. I dug the art because it shows Link as a small 10 year old boy, so I felt that way as well playing it.

I prefer the more realistic style of Zelda to the cell shaded version. That said, once I started playing WW, the graphics really didn't matter, in fact, some of the graphics were really beautiful in WW (I am thinking the end castle especially) My big problem with WW was that there was just too damn much sailing around doing nothing, looking for some tiny island in the middle of nowhere.

I loved the art and gameplay as well, but all that damn sailing and scavenger hunting made me never finish the game.

Moose pretty much summed it up for me. The sailing was just far too tedious and it took away from the action. Thankfully, they fixed that when they made Phantom Hourglass.

Yeah, until you got the Waker so you could warp from island the island, the sailing was a horrible pain in the ass.

But even so, Wind Waker kicks Castlevania in the balls and spits in its eye.
