Am I missing something? Why is Ms Pacman here? Was there any actual difference between the original and Ms? I never really was any damn good at either and didn't play them too much. But if I look at the brackets will I find that 2 damn near identical games are in the tournament or is there a difference I never noticed?

To answer Lucky's question: Ms. Pacman had a larger maze, and paths that warped you from one edge of the screen to the other. Also, the music and cut-scenes were more fun. ("They Meet...")

Ms. Pac-Man rules all. I still play it whenever I see a machine to this day. Always the same mission: beat the high score. 3/4 of the time I do.

To Lucky: Instead of 1 maze, it's 4. The fruits bounce. The colors are brighter. And that's the main difference. Those small diferences totally enhance the experience. And then there's the arcade hack where it's sped up. That's too much fun.

Always loved Ms. Pacman and Pacman. They were the first games in the arcade I was good at as a 6 year old kid.

I'm with Serg and the other "oldies" - the arcade ruled all. I still go every once in while.

My grandparents, rich sons of bitches, had two arcade games in their house: Centipede and Ms. Pacman. Needless to say, much of my childhood was spent beating my top score over and over again.

Ms. Pacman is awesome. I think if I was ever going to buy one of the big arcade games to put in my house I would buy Ms. Pacman.

Turbo Ms. Pac Man is still fun. I have to play a couple of game any time I run across a machine. I love this game.

Have you guys heard of MAME?

In my circles it's common knowledge for like 12 years about MAME, but you guys may not have? (It's an emulator to play the exact arcade games).

If people are interested I'll do a thread with a write up and how to find stuff ect...

For those of you who love Ms. Pacman, you can play her again, identical to the arcade...

I have heard of MAME, and I've even tried to get some games running, but I haven't been able to get it working. If you could wirte up a tutorial on setting everything up and getting games, I would definitely appreciate it.
