I tried to get into FF as a series. I beat FF 3 on the SNES. I even played FF7 for like 35 hours, and then realized I had gotten past past 5% of the game and said "fuck this" (getting out of city).

I dunno, never got the love for FF. That said-

Ugh, awful pairing for FFX which is one of my favorite games ever. I absoluetly loved the story and gameplay and it is my favorite of the FF series. But Techmo Super Bowl was my favorite game as a kid. I'm going to vote Techmo here but just like NBA Jam/No Mercy I'm disappointed that I had to choose. It seemed like almost the entire other half the bracket was easy choices for me to make.
